YAWN and Happy President's Day LL!!!!! As Michelle would say " ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) " Now I wish I'd kept those PJs I "sent" to Devon, Peter, and Mocha last night.

WCR: 5 Ps in place and LITTLE STINKA gave me a big surprise last night. Oh yes...casually coming down slowly in blue even though I cracked a new pen open last night. I told Mike to go ahead and go to bed at +4 and I'd do one more check. Good thing I did because she threw me a 69 at +5 so I gave her a little bit of 12% gravy. AND THEN a 50 at +6 and I'm thinking "Did Ann sneak some Lev in my Lantus pen"? :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: I got her up to 68 and Mike and I have talked so many times about not giving her anything once she heads back up but I was so tired by then and she'd been doing this downward progression from her bounce, that I gave her a little more gravy and BOOIINNNGGG! I did expect to see her high at AMPS today and she actually held her number but looks like she is headed back up now. Thankfully, after shot routine, I went btb and Mike got up for breffis 2 and 3. I'm still working on getting the first up of caffeine fully injected into my veins. :lol: :lol:

Sending out healing vines and prayers to our sick kitties: Rocket, Butthead, Whiskers, Willow and our hugs and love to Ele. We're glad to see Willie is doing so much better! Have a super day....it's a holiday for me and if Gracie continues to bounce, Mike and I are out for the day.....movie and lunch and movie or golf.

Sounds like Gracie is trying to get you out of the house before the pool party starts. Although the kitties will miss their cabanabean. :-D

What an awesome night for Gracie - wow, good thing you got that +5. :shock: I did smile over your comment about the gravy at +6 when she was headed up. been there, done that, and at the time I think - what was I thinking... fatigue sometimes clouds judgment. She'll be back down soon enough. Right Gracie?

My ...I went ice skating today! We had an ice storm overnight...1.5 inches of solid ice coating everything...

and I had two puggles to walk today! No...not walk...we skated. Their area was pretty bad. powerlines down, tree limbs crashing....have you ever heard the wind blowing through ice covered trees? It clack, clack, clacks...

Hey guys!! We were AWOL all day but it was nice. I had to take Tobes to the vet this morning to have his thymus rechecked. Ever since he had that virus last fall and the crazy temps, they've been watching to make sure his thymus disappears like it should from kittenhood to adulthood. It makes the T-cells to fight inflammation. His is still showing but it shrunk to 1cm so he's doing well. When Gracie and I were trying to get our btb this morning, he was purring up a storm and trying to snuggle with us, too, and for some reason, he meows over and over in his little squeaky voice. He's done this since we got him and I can't figure out why he meows when he's obviously so happy.

Ann, Celi, Karrie: yes....we got out...went to see "The Fighter" because we were both too tired to play golf and it was windy :lol: Great movie. And Celi...LOVE the photo!

Christie, Roni, MIchelle: very happy with the numbers last night and sure would like to see some more nice numbers!! Come on baby girl!

Beth: oh yeah...we've lived in AK and Canada and other cold places...definitely have heard the wind blowing through icy trees. Oh I miss ice skating....or did you mean just walking was like skating?

Hoping Miss Gracie clears this bounce tonight. I'm shortly off for bed...back to TBP tomorrow. Thanks all for visiting.

That pink is almost yellow!

We didn't get anything other that a slight dusting of snow during the day today. However, there are all sorts of advisory weather messages tonight. Apparently, the road surfaces are freezing over and we're expecting snow overnight. Yuck.

thought i'd answer your question here...sienne told me how to post the pics...i just right click on the pic i want...choose 'copy image address'
then wherever you want it in the post, you click on Img (next to URL) and insert it between the brackets. my laptop removes one of the [ brackets so i have to put that in...but as long as the pic is smaller than 600 x 600...it comes up.

Thanks Celi....when I right click on the photo, I don't get "copy image address". I wonder if it is the difference between MAC and Windows?

Which are you? On a Mac holding down the option key when you click works as well (I think it's called something else on a PC) or on my MacBook a two fingered tap on the touch pad. BTW the same thing works for smilies you like in someone else's posts. ;-)

EDT: Just saw you question in Binks's condo. If you upload an attachment from your computer, I think you get the thumbnail view. Celi is linking to pix she finds on the web.

DH here - big slowdown for the stinka. This may be one of those flat yellow nights. I'll get another test before I go to bed to make sure. Wait a minute, isn't that what Marjorie thought she was going to do last night?
