Good Morning, LL. Yesterdays Condo: Chyna 2/20

The bean was surprised this morning at the AMPS :shock: . I was going to move her to 6am (BG 71) and stalled to 6:30am (BG 77). I have to go to work as I am the only opening shift person...so I did a BCS of 2.5u from the normal 4u. I can only get a +1 as I leave...please pray that Chyna will surf this while I'm gone! nailbite_smile I guess between the shot time move, dosecrease, and subqs last night she went down...I hope not lower than I saw this morning as her PM+5 was 167 I thought we were good...I wouldn't worry so much if we hadn't had those drastic drops the past week...we used to shoot green all the time :o

She was happy and purry till shot time...then she meowed and growled and tried to run away while I tried to tent :cry: . It took two pokes to get the shot in...partial shots in two spots :roll: . I think we'll have to go back to doing it on the kitchen counter where she can't get away, she used to sit so good so I changed it to the bed where we do ear pokes. You'd think I was doing something a lot worse from those noises! I'm not sure why she is so vocal lately :?

WOW on the amps! :-D :mrgreen: I don't blame you at all for he BCS. I would have too. it is so hard when you wake up to a low amps, and know you have to be to work... She seems to be on the rise, YAY! Leave food out for her too? I too would have thought with a 167 at +5 things would be nice and even. Guess Chyna wanted to get your heart rate up this morning. :?

;-) on those noises this morning... sometimes I'd get those from Mannie too. Good luck with the shot location. I was always sitting on the floor with Mannie on my lap. He never moved, seemed to like the spot choice, so we kept it. Mighty cold on that kitchen floor in the morning. :lol:

I left HC fuds out in the timer for every half hour this morning...I don't know what else to do! I should have left out syrup too, stupid idiot. Maybe I can take a really early lunch once the next shift gets in. I'm so scared! :shock:

Safe surfing! It is surprisingly hard to leave them alone when they are green! Great idea on the HC feedings I am sure that will help. I hope you can get home for lunch! :-D

It is so nerve wracking to have to leave our kitties with numbers like that, but you did just fine this morning. I hope Chyna keeps surfing those blues for the rest of the day.

Oh my Chyna!! :shock: :o That's a little hard on the beans to do that in the morning. It is good having that little extra time to stall to make sure she was coming up. Rachel, it looks like you did exactly the right things to keep her safe today. :YMHUG: Keep on surfing nicely for your mamabean today Chyna.

Thanks everyone! I will reply to you all later, I'm relived! The tests I took on my super early "lunch" are HC influenced but they went up :-D. I did leave more HC out...maybe that was dumb but I won't be home till +11.5 now... :?. Work is again slammed busy :roll:

I would have done the same thing with the HC...better safe than sorry - you never know if she could decide to drop, and she'll recover from all the extra treats.

I know how it tore your heart out to have to leave for work with Chyna so low. I'm glad you were able to get home and check on her when you did. It must have helped calm you down some. Leaving the food was perfect, and I'm sure she'll be safe the rest of the day. Deep breaths, now!! Remember, once you get home, you'll be with her all weekend!

Hi Everyone! Thanks so much for the thoughts and prayers today :YMHUG: . And for your visits (some of you twice): Michelle, Rebekah, Catherine, Amy, Ella, Tara, Liz, Linda, Mariko, Carla, Jane, Wendy, and Tricia, thank you, thank you! :-D

What a stressful day, I just want to sleep now. I was so scared to go, but we had no coverage till later. I was 15 min late because the before leaving poke I couldn't get a blood bead, I used both ears and my hands were shaking. It never works when you have to rush :roll: . Then racing around getting HC fuds set out and getting her eating some. Then when the later girl came in, I took a very early lunch to race home...traffic was terrible and I admit, I bawled all the way home :? . Thank god she had come up. I had mom come over at 3pm today (+8.5) when she was out and about to look in on her, but she doesn't test...it still made me feel better to have her looked at.

PMPS was actually expected to be higher but I'm ok with the pink for now. I moved the shot to 6pm where I was trying to go since the rhythym is all shot anyways, and did the 4u. Chyna surprised me by eating almost all the HC and the LC left out (much more than her usual day of fuds). I hope we don't have the poopsies right away :o .

I'm so sorry I haven't been able to visit condos yet today, again. I am ready to scream from too much busy at tbp, and too much "short people" that I cover! :evil: . But it's Friday, and now I have two days off so I should be able to get caught up on everyone :-D Hugs to you all!
