Guess I lost track of the time there somewhere! Didn't think it had been 3 days since I posted!

Miss China's still doing fine! Still reporting for duty daily at the lagoon!!....although she did take a break on the beach this morning to dry out her fur

Well, we've gone from 69 yesterday morning to freezing rain/sleet at 6pm last night and then we've got more freezing rain and sleet moving through later tonight....Crazy weather!!

Supposed to take DM to get her hair done tomorrow but if it's slick, she's just going to have to live without it this week. I'm not risking a broken hip for a hairdo!

Don’t they salt the sidewalks where your from? Here they pre treat all roads and sidewalks and then salt after. Can’t let weather hold you back.

Heck no.....we're lucky if they put a teaspoon of sand on the road and sidewalks are totally up to the people who own the property it's attached to.

Small town living has it's advantages, but road maintenance isn't one of them.

It's not healthy for the environment to have all that salt all over everything, in any event. In our village they don't use salt anymore on the roads: just sand (and lots of it).

It’s not salt. It’s alternative substance that does similar. Can’t live in Canada without roads and sidewalks being treated.
