Good morning LL!

We had our first "normal" night last night. Tarragon had a good time playing with his new nanner and we spent a lot of time cuddling, petting, and spending time together. This week has been a little eye opening into what Tarragon's habits actually are as far as eating and lb use. When there were two kitties, we never knew who was eating what and how often either one were going to the potty. I never realized that he only goes potty a couple times a day. Turnup would go every few hours in smaller amounts. Tarragon also doesn't eat a whole lot in the morning, but seems to really eat in the afternoon/evening, whereas Turnup would eat little amounts over the course of the whole day. He cleaned his plate last night for supper for the first time in awhile. Good boy. He also slept with us all night (and his nanner). :) He seems to be using his nanner as a kind of security blanket right now, and that's ok.

Hope you all have a great day!

So glad to here that Tarragon is adjusting to the loss of his friend Turnup. It is really amazing how much they really do understand and how much they too need to grieve.

Morning Melissa :coffee::coffee::coffee:

It is good to read that things are coming along OK for Tarragon, and you guys too.

I can imagine on it being an eye opener for you on what his actual habits are. I never knew who did what here either...

and bring on those nanners... I can remmeber when Mannie crossed Elsa latched onto a couple of Mannie's nanners. She was very selective at that time. Guess she found the ones that said "Mannie" to her. Comfort for her too.

Have a great day today. :)

Hi Melissa,
I'm so glad that T. is adjusting. He's such a good kitty! Interesting about his eating patterns: they are somewhat similar to Rusty's. Rusty does the bulk of his eating in the evening and at night.
How is Charlie doing?

Thinking of you all,

Hugs and scritches,

Ella & Rusty

@Michelle and Mannie (GA) : I remember when Elsa used to try to get in a play with Mannie's nanners when he wasn't engaged with them. I guess she had her favorites.

I'm glad T is doing a little better. It's hard. We also had the change in the litter box although we knew who did what because they were quite different for Zener and Tillie. Have a great Friday, Melissa!

Thank you guys. Charlie is doing ok. He is pretty quiet and acts sad, but seems to be doing better. He is staying out with Tarragon a lot more and they seem to have formed an even stronger bond than before, if that is possible. As far as the beans, we are doing ok. Yesterday was a little better and today is hard again. I only cried 3 times yesterday but have 4 times already today. Oy. Mason sounds a little better on the phone. He hasn't been over since Monday. DH had a hard night last night and this morning. I know you all know where we are coming from.

I'm glad you had some "normal" last night and that Tarragon is enjoying his nanner. I'm glad Charlie is doing okay and the beans too. It takes time to adjust. Keeping everyone in my prayers.
