Wow, it's been a while. We are getting some beautiful morning and daytime numbers and high pm numbers. It's been a rough week...hubby came home pretty grumpy, my left sciatic has been hurting so bad and one morning I couldn't even get out of bed it was so bad and it's inventory week at work. I've been exhausted and super tired and taking muscle relaxers at night that have been knocking me out. I can't wait til my sciatic stops hurting and inventory is over. Luckily I have a super good, sweet kitty.

Hi Suzi, looks like Snickers its getting some great green's during the day! Maybe some bounces in the eve. Sorry to hear about the sciatica, I've had that once before it was so awful. I can empathise with having health concerns myself, it can be a real challenge. So wonderful you have such a sweet cat:) I have such a special cat too, Tinka was only diagnosed with diabetes in Dec and I was concerned her being quite a nervous cat how she'd cope with the shooting and BG tests etc and she's really taken it in her stride and is so good about it all, it really helps a lot. Hope you sleep well and I'll pray for you for pain relief!

Hi Suzi.

Good to see you. Looks like Snickers is being a very considerate kitty and doing her lagoon surfing during the day. How many of us would love that so we can sleep at night?!

Sorry to hear about the sciatica. I've been having a really rough time with it for almost a year now. The exercises that used to keep it at bay are no longer working. I've tried different exercises, two different nerve meds with no relief and am going to be trying injections soon. If those don't help, I'll be seeing a back surgeon. :nailbiting: I hate that, as the amazing surgeon that "took me apart and put me back together" in 2002 moved to another provider several years ago and I'll have to see someone new. I hope your back is better soon. Sending vines.

Every other day it acts up. And I just found out that half the meds I am on aren't covered by my insurance. We have an HRA And we don't usually go to the doctor a whole lot so last year we managed to get clear until Nov before we had to pay out of pocket. This year I started Lyrica and found out it is not covered so the hra paid for it, and it is super expensive. Now half our hra is gone. And hubby is going to physical therapy for his sciatic, (I do his exercises with him during the week) which is also not covered. Ugh. I'm going to have to change everything I take to what's covered. I have a very short list of approved meds from our insurance. I hate insurance :mad:

Have you tried osteopathy? I found it more effective than chiropractic and physio for sciatica. Massage therapy with isometric stretching may be a good option too. I use to work as a massage therapist.

I'll have to look into that. Since Obama our insurance has drastically changed. At one time chiropractic care was covered, which was when I found out my 4th and 5th lumbar have been fused since birth. They also had an on site massage dept and I loved it!!

Well, hopefully when Obamacare is replaced you'll have better coverage again.

I'm glad Snickers is doing well. So sorry about your back and the issues with the insurance. Insurance is crazy. I hope you can find treatments that are covered by the insurance that help. Sending prayers.

Hi Suzi, So sorry to hear about your back and hope that you will find relief soon. My father swore by his osteopath, and I had good luck with osteopathy when I had a back injury as a teenager. It's worth a try. D.O.s are often also M.D.s, so your insurance will probably cover the care.

Lookin' good, Snickers! Surf safe! :D

Hi Suzi,
Sorry about your back :bighug::bighug::bighug:
Snickers is having some great am cycles:D:D:D
And those pm bounces are great so you can catch some zzz's
Hope you are able to figure something out that helps for your back.
