Good Morning, Everyone,

Rusty had a good night after the stress of the vetty visit yesterday. He ate all his nighttime food at some point(s) and snuggled between his beans. He was tired out from his vet visit. This morning we had a good test (except for the number!), a good shot, breakfast of FF T&G and Wellness Turkey (1st sitting eaten), and a good schmooze. We seem to have the delayed vetty-visit bounce going this morning and it will probably take a day or so to get back to normal numbers. So the LagoonMeister will keep watch on the lagoon from the shore.

I don't expect to hear about the test results until later in the week, but am trying to stay positive. Thanks for all your vines and good wishes.

We got about 2 inches of new snow last night and today we have some sunshine (but only for a while until the next snow gets here this afternoon). Now that we have our new 'fridge, I have to go shopping; and we have to go to the landfill to dispose of the questionable food that had been in the freezer. Most is OK, but some I don't want to take chances with. The new 'fridge is holding its temperatures well, so later today I will entrust the insulin to it.

Wishing you all a fine day and sending good thoughts and healing vines to all kitties and beans in need,

Ella & Rusty

Morning Ella ~O)

Everyone's entitled to a day off occasionally, even a LagoonMeister
Prayers and good thoughts for the test results.

Have a great day!

Re: 2/20 Rusty AMPS 273

Healing vines and good vibes that there is nothing remarkable on Rusty's test results. The waiting is definitely the hardest part. Have a great day Ella! :YMHUG: :YMHUG: :YMHUG:

Re: 2/20 Rusty AMPS 273

Morning Ella, yes, tha does look like a Vetty bounce. Mags started on the yellow, too. Prayers and vines that the results of the X-rays show nothing serious and something very treatable. Enjoy your shopping today for good human fids for the new frig. We had a real winter storm overnight and will last thru the morning. It's the kind of storm you and Edward would probably enjoy taking a walk. Very windy though! Have a great day.

Re: 2/20 Rusty AMPS 273

Good morning Ella. Not use to seeing Rusty in the yellow zone. Maybe he's been appointed as the Lagoon's ambassador and as such is visiting the other zones to convince those kitties to move to the Lagoon. Wouldn't it be great if our kitties liked going to the vet? Keeping our fingers crossed that the x-ray readings are all good news.

It seems like your new refrigerator is fitting into it's adopted family well. As I'm typing this I'm thinking of an uncle that was an ice man. He use to deliver Hugh blocks of ice to folks, placing a piece of canvas or leather over his right shoulder and slinging the big blocks up on the shoulder using giant tongs. I don't think we would adapt very well to an ice box these days.

Does the fresh snow and cold weather mean there is a snowshoeing outing in your future?

Have a great day Ella.

Re: 2/20 Rusty AMPS 273

Hope Rusty finds some better numbers today. Yay on the fridge, that will be nice to have that taken care of. Paws crossed for the test results. We have snow too, enough to close the university! :-D

Re: 2/20 Rusty AMPS 273

Paws crossed for a nice slide later and everything crossed that the test come back w/ nothing serious to be concerned about.

Your snow sounds lovely. Our winter storm just skirted us so we had a good half hour of rain and that was it!

:thumbup On the new fridge working well and restocking. Now you can cook again!

Re: 2/20 Rusty AMPS 273, +5 130

I hope Rusty recovers from his bounce soon. I'm glad the new fridge is working well. I hope you don't have to wait long on the test results and you get some good results.

Hi again,
We had the post-vetty bounce today, but Rusty had a good day nonetheless. He had good appetite, some good schmoozes, good combings, good game of tube ball. At one point I went out on the front porch (unheated) to get something and Rusty went out too (didn't stay very long, however, since the temperature on the porch was just at 32 degrees). (It was a warm, but damp, chilly day with snow off and on.) The beans went grocery shopping and to the landfill. Test results aren't in yet, but Rusty seemed really good with his breathing. He spent a lot of time in his perch over the radiator.

A huge deer family was in our yard when we left for the landfill: the 2 fawns from last spring, their mothers, older siblings, and aunties, maybe even a young buck or two (they shed their antlers in the winter). There must have been 10 or 12 deer here, all standing looking at us and showing no fear. The two young ones were within 10 feet of us. I put some sunflower seeds in the bird feeders and left a lot on the ground for the deer. They couldn't wait for us to leave, but started right in eating! We're not supposed to feed deer, but they would have knocked the seeds out of the bird feeders in any event.

Thanks for visiting us and for all your vines and good thoughts.

Ella & Rusty

It sounds like Rusty had a very lovely day - yay!

Thanks for making me giggle in Trix's condo! Oh, these crazy, door-rattling kitties!! I hadn't thought about them starting to go after other doors, or rattling the door when it's open. I sure hope none of them read Trix's condo tonight - they sure don't need any more ideas on how to keep us awake a night  !

Have a great evening, Ella!

It looks like Rusty is easing out of his post vetty bounce. I bet it won't be long before he is back on duty. I hope you hear about the test results this week. Where do they have to go for testing? That as the annoying thing about the acro testing was that I knew it would take so long to hear an answer.

Very brave of Rusty to go out on the porch and look at the deer. My parents have a lot of deer at their place and they are always hanging around the compost hoping for something tasty to be disposed of.

Hi Ella,
Nice of Rusty to ditch the vetty bounce! Keep sliding down sweetie. easy tho...
I hope your results come back soon with nothing to worry about. It sounds a little like what was on Ollie's xray when he was diagnosed with FD. There were "donuts" in his chest x-ray .. sort of round white clouds. His vet said it was asthma. He hasn't had an symptoms at all. Well, sometimes he does snore... but that's it. I hope Rusty is just as "nothing".
I love your deer. You're so right. They always knock my birdfeeders with their heads, shake all the seeds on the ground and then munch munch munch.

Many hugs and scritches to you - mary and ollie

Glad Rusty came down today. Poor boy...we were hoping the KTSS would help.

Paws crossed for only good news.

Glad you got the frig :-D :-D and then groceries...yay!

Blizzard here...and it's sticking
