Found out Rosy was frequant squatting, little urination with blood; she got UTI. Vet subscribbed Baytril to treat. I refused to give her the steriod instead giving her a Chinese herbal drink (water boiled with dried honeysuckle flower) for clearing the inflamation. Rosy was much better in the evening.
Today
I could have over done it. Giving her too much to drink. Rosy throwup after her second meal in the morning which was an hr after the ab, so I dont want to give her the pill again in case there can be an overdose. After the throw up, She did a big pool of urine which's a good sign. I think it's the herbal drink working. Ketone tested negative. :razz: There is still traces of blood in the urine testing but it's not reddish at all. Rosy acted all "normal", appy's good, no more frequant LB visit.
I did not shave her dose since the UTI caused inflamation thus the higher bg number.

AMPS355 gave Wiskas & 1u

I don't blame you for refusing the steriod. It sounds like the herbal drink is working! I hope her UTI clears up ASAP. If feline UTI's are anything like humans, it is very uncomfortable. Have a wonderful day and hoping for you to see green on your cutie's SS today!
