Good Morning from the icicle that is RI!

Our boy is being a little turkey this morning. He did a lovely snarf and barf, which is not something he does often. Of course as soon as he barfed, he wanted more food. I gave him some little bits at a time, and he kept that down. I'll be monitoring him closely, though, because the second cycle of a dose increase is not the time for a snarf and barf!

I'm going to be warping (stringing up) my loom today. No doubt I'll get some feline assistance. Civvie DK loves to help with all crafting projects!

Sami tends to do that with water. When she is hungry and I haven't fed her she goes and drinks a bunch of water and the barfs it up. I guess they really know how to get our attention.

Have fun warping your loom, I a knitter & a spinner, and have tried weaving, but I guess I need a bit more instruction because it seems so overwhelming to me. I have been thinking about taking a class for the past couple of years, I just haven't made it a priority.

Hope Mikey's numbers come down a bit today on the dosecrease you instituted last night.

I'm a better knitter than I am a weaver. It's really fun, though. You should definitely take a class. I'm kind of stuck here, because I have no one to hold the yarn while I roll it in. Oops! Didn't think of that.

Mikey doesn't scarf and barf often, but every once in a while, he gives us a surprise. I'm going to test him again shortly.

Spreading the food thinly on a plate can help slow them down.

Pics of some of your projects?

The only time I warped a loom I had three helpers, I think that is why haven't done it since. My friend gave me her Cricket Loom and I have had it for two years and I have yarn to make some dish towels, but I just can't bring myself to warp it. I think once I get it warped I would be find. I am taking it with me to our knitting retreat in April and I am hoping to warp - weave and then warp again before we have to go home. The retreat is 12 days so hopefully that will be enough time. I don't want to do anything fancy, I just want to feel comfortable warping on my own.

You guys are so ambitious. I don't even know how to hold knitting needles, much less knit! But I have friends here who spin and weave and quilt. I do know how to sew on buttons and patches!
Mikey, that must be very tasty food for you to be so eager to eat it. Slow down and enjoy your fuds!

LOL! Well I can tell you that I don't quilt, mostly because I am not about perfection and I think quilting takes perfection. All those straight lines are just not for me. LOL!

You're going on a 12 day knitting retreat??? I can't tell you how jealous I am! :)

I quilt, but I'm not very good at it. It's so much harder than knitting.

LOL! Yes, 12 days of knitting. Actually I host the retreat every year in Lexington, MI. It is always a fantastic time.

Dis be how it done, kittehs! Who's ready for more lessons? Your mommies be so proud, just like mine.

Dear Mikey,
You know that show tent you hung out in at Uncle Jim's? If you don't stay away from the other cats and stop giving lessons, you will be confined to it. For right now, you are banned from the computer.
Love,
Mommy

Not to worry, kittehs, she just upset 'cause I missed a color. I still givin' lessons.

Hmmm...what a strange cycle!! Any chance you retested at +9 to see if that was a bad strip?

If it wasn't, it makes you wonder if he kept diving and dropped low somewhere after +4

Mikey, Mikey - what a show off! Gotta find you a Rainbow Queen kitty to share the throne with you.

Good luck with the loom. My DGM was a weaver and I cherish the things I got from her. I quilt - but I'm not a big fan of straight lines.;) Neko loves to "help" if I ever do knitting.
