Good Morning LL!! ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) (YUM - the good stuff!), and Happy Monday!

Mannie and I are saddened to learn of the passing of Gus yesterday. Fly free little one, and land softly at the Bridge. You will be missed, and never forgotten.

Yesterday was close to a repeat of the day before. Blues to start, pinks in the middle. Uh Mannie? Where'd the greens go? Yesterday morning started out well, but turned into a steady rise. I hope he won't stay on the upper floors long. Paws crossed, right Mannie? Lubs ya big guy! cat_pet_icon

All is well in MannieLand. :-D :-D We had a few sun breaks today. :razz: :razz: It was as if Mannie's built in "good weather radar" sounded off, alerting him to the possibility of an outdoor romp. He was at the door the minutes those rays appeared. :lol: :lol: So off he went to make his rounds, secure the perimeter and get a few good sniffs in. One could see that little nose twitching and sniffing. :lol: :lol: It was nice to see him enjoying the outdoor time. Now if I could just get him to stop bringing in the whole yard with him. All that fur is like magnet: leaves, needles, bark, moss.... anything.... :? :roll: And as always we had a great test feed shoot this morning: lots of purrs and head rubs from Mannie. Breffis was consumed with gusto - still and always at warp speed, clean plate club status maintained, the auto feeder continues to be used, Elsa still tries to raid his auto feeder, I still intercept.... Normalcy in MannieLand.

Hey everybody! You guys just wanna hang out some today? Maybe we could go to Rusty's - his bean is gone for a while. I gots fleece ad stuff, and hot toddy's. We could just chill-out by the fire and stuff. What'd'ya think? I am ready for anything you guys wanna do... See you! ~~ Mannie

Morning Michelle, very sweet remembrance of Gus and the pic. So sad when we lose one of these precious babies.
Mannie, let's come down to some nice blues and meet Maggie. So funny with Mannie bringing in part of the yard with pine needles! :lol: Well, Mom, I am a boy kitty and that's what we do! :lol: Ugh on the cleaning. I have a small apartment and can't understand why it gets dirty with just one person. I hope you can get a walk in if weather permits. I think our weather is semi-nice.

Mannie, sounds nice to visit Rusty and cozy up to the fireplace with some fleece. Hot toddies and roasted marshmallows sounds good. See ya at the curb, Maggie

Hi Linda - :lol: :lol: oh so agreed... my goodness - everything comes in stick to his belly fur. what a pain to get it all out!

Hi Amy - love that comment!! I will be sure and pass that on to him. Mannie really does have such beautiful fur, but the belly section it clsoe to 4" ong - it is unreal what I find stuck in all that fluff after one of his outdoor adventures. :shock: and of course he wants nothing to do with my attempts to brush it out. sheshhhh!

Hi Ann - Love you comment too - on the being a boy kitty and that is what we do. SO TRUE! No way would his sister do that. :lol: :lol: I think the pine needles are the worst... and thanks - I hope so too on the walk. :cool:

Hi guys .. looks like some flat yellows for mannie so far this morning .. perhaps an interesting afternoon? How nice that mannie got to go outside and check out everything .. hope cleaning off the fur wasn't to big of a problem .. have a great day!

Hi Devon - looks like he didn't want to wait until the afternoon. YAY! LOL on the fur cleaning. What cracks me up is that he will do some on his own - so I find the evidence here there and everywhere. :lol: :lol:

This smiley is so weird. I copy it from my list, paste it between the brackets, and get the unknown image box!
But if I copy the address from my list, and use it to go to the page, then copy the address from the page (it is exactly the same), paste that between the brackets,%20the%20smiley%20shows!!?????

Hey Barb - well he does roll too, but the bulk comes from the under carriage :o :shock: :roll: :? :? - that fur is so longggggggggggggggg, and it catches everything!!! :lol: :lol: :lol: Of course it doesn't help that he lays in all the piles of yard stuff. sheshhhhhh........

Hi Ann - yeah, I know on the smilies and the images - sometimes I just can't get the to do their thing... and yes on the cleaning. it is needed anyways, so best get at it. I played outdoors on a walk for a while so now time to get busy. bummer.... I like his +5 - I just hope he can stay there, maybe even find the greens!

Michelle, I loved the video of DGS playing at water's edge, with the pant-drag backwards every now and then. :lol: What a great GM you are for letting him explore and feel the cold water and wet sand, rather than snatching him away before he "gets too close." I'm with you on letting him get close safely. The joy on Nicholas's face when he was patting the water was just wonderful.

Hi Randa - Thanks on the vid! I do have a ton of fun with this little guy. It was indeed a joy to watch his reactions. He is quite partial to these rivers, so we go as often as we can. I just really feel that exploring and feeling like that is so important. Plus - he loves it!

hi Marje - It has indeed been a great day for him - love it. I am not too sure if we had any greens in the AM, it's possible, but no matter. The PM one is great - we shall see what he does. and we did some of the cleaning.. LOL. The main stuff is, so i'm ok with that. :lol: :lol:

Gracie - I lUBS that thing - I so want my bean to get one. you can PAINT????? OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO - even better! and singing cats with instruments?? Are they as good as us? see you! ~~ Mannie

Michelle, some of my most special memories were made while a very young child being allowed to safely explore like you do with him. Things I can still 'feel' over 50 years later....

This is what we hope to have happening here - the imprinting of wonderful things for this little boy. Thanks for sharing! --- and I do so hope on Mannie. :-D Though it hasn't always been so smooth..... What a ride! :-D

Mannie has had a phenomenal day, and Mookie is pink with envy (367 to be exact). If he does it again tomorrow, please take Mookie along on the blue surf!

Hi Randa - I remember those pink days, and that 367 was one of Mannie's fav pink numbers. :-D In fact, he was just there the other day. He says it will be an honor to escort Mookie off of the pink floor. And thanks - it has indeed been a good day for him. I so hope he remembers and finds it again in the morning. Paws crossed!

and this bean is toast - NI NI for me. I-) I-)
