I THINK I may have done a fur shot last night. When I shot his flanks, I never had a problem with them but since I've gone to shooting scruff only, I've done two of them. This really makes me irritated with myself - there's no reason to do a fur shot other than not paying attention when you've been giving them twice daily for 7 months.

Linda - you asked about 'Ghost I' yesterday when I posted the pic and story of Ghost II. Check out yesterday's link if you missed it. The first 'Ghost' was a medium size gray feral that snuck in and ate in our feral hutch twice a day for months about 3 years ago. We don't know what happened to him, he suddenly quit sneaking in....I imagine a coyote got him as I looked and looked and never saw anything of him. Of course I didn't see him when he was right there hiding either....'Ghost II' just seemed to fit that beautiful baby that visited that day. A very special visit...

I've got jonquils blooming everywhere! I keep tellin' them dey iz gonna' get snowed on...dey ignor me....I just love seeing their colorful heads waving everywhere.

Prayers today for Marcy and Klinger as she brings Klinger back home. THANK YOU LORD for helping them bring that sweet baby back. We pray for comfort for Gus' family as he crossed the bridge and for Paul-Kyle's family all having kitty flu and being SO SO sick.

Bummer on the fur shot, if that is what happened. But he'll be back down and in business in no time. No sense in wasting energy being upset with yourself. Thanks for reposting the link to the eagles nest. We watched a different one last year, it's fascinating.
 
My DS who is 7 loves birds--particularly eagles. I will have to show him these pictures! He'll love it. Thanks! He just finished having a "bird" 7th birthday party. That was his request, so I had to figure out how to turn that into something that 7-year old boys would enjoy. We went to our local Audubon center and did a hike with a scavenger hunt. There aren't too many birds out right now (or maybe they were just scared of the pack of boys!) But they had a great party!

The eagle babies are just so cute. It is amazing getting a birds eye view like that. I did miss it yesterday so I'm very glad you reposted today :-D
