This am, started 1/3 meal @ amps; @+1; @+2
Update on Big John - took to vet yesterday - bacterial respiratory infection again. Got penicillin shot and did bloodwork. Put him on nebulizer with gentamycin sulfate, nasal wash (fun
) and started Azrithromycin. This is a chronic condition for him - he gets the infection, won't eat, we treat w antibiotics and nebulizer, he is ok for a few weeks and then we start over again. His nasal/sinus passages are damaged, possibly from prior owner smoking. Poor boy! And even through all this his bg this am was 253.
