Yesterday's Condo

Guess the threat of a dosecrease was heard! His cycles have been wonky lately, but was not expecting a dip at +8 (still within MOE, though, so not too worried)! Snow day for the bean, so I'm around to keep an eye on him! At some point, have go to dig out my car in the 13F temps. Joy.

Willie seemed a little perkier today, but continues to sleep quite a bit. I think he may need some kisses, though. Going to remedy that here in a sec. :)

Hope everyone in LL is safe and warm! Prayers go out to Claudia and Rocket for comfort, answers and a clear path on how to proceed.

looks like our nadir HAS shifted! Wee Dub is showing no symptoms, just fed with Natural Balance Venison and Peas. Don't know carb %, but Dr. Lisa sd it is too high carb too feed regularly, so we'll start there. Will bust out gravy if still low in 20 min.

Hi, Christie.. CrAzY kitties.. Baby gave me a 36 last night :shock: I don't like those low #s!! Sounds like you are handling it well & are testing again in 15mins? Happy to hear he is eating for you!

Generally speaking, with a number in the 30s, I go for the HC. Please test and post to see if the Nat'l Balance did the job. (I tend to think it's a MC food but I don't remember.)

I would use HC here!!! Great catch! Once you get him up, I believe you know, any 30's number is an automatic dose reduction, but please check with the dosing helpers.
Post an update as soon as you test-OK??

Thanks for the heads up, Sienne. Next time we'll bust out the gravy. Looks like the Natural Balance did the trick, but will test again in 15-20.

He's hanging out, taking his bath. So far, so good. This late nadir business is a big "do. not. like.", though. going to have to rethink our shot schedule and my work schedule.


ETA-- Will definitely post all tests ASAP. I know how I worry about kitties with low numbers!!

Wow Christie, 36?! I'm surprised the Natural Balance brought him up so quickly. Of course, I'm a weenie, I shove a can of Gravy at Checks when he goes that low...and he pays for it later.

It's hard right now, with Willie's diet restrictions (no poultry), and I remembered Dr. LIsa saying that I should not ever give Willie the Natural Balance even in a pinch as regular food because it was just "way" too high in carbs, so I thought I'd give it a try. I do have gravy foods I can use and they are seafood, I just wanted to give this a try... and it was the first can I grabbed out of Willie's duffle bag of emergency supplies.

Looking at his spreadsheet, I'm now wondering if he dipped lower than I realized during the PM cycle on the 31st, and if yesterday was a bounce.

What a lovely day for Willie and GREAT CATCH and recovery!!! Looks like he's headed up to give you a nice PMPS!

Nice catch and what a great day for Willie! wow - a 36! and look at all that green.

I am glad that the food worked for you. It has to be tough when there are diet restrictions.
