Good Morning, Everyone. It's Groundhog day. Did your grounhog see his shadow? If so, 6 more weeks of winter. If not, spring is just around the corner

Rusty had congestion again last night. And at 4 a.M. we heard a vomiting sound, but there is no vomit or hairball anywhere. His breathing is good this morning. I'm still wondering if the bid dosing of Allerplex and the increase to two capsules a day loosens up too much of the gunk in Rusty's lungs and therefore might make his chronic congestion worse. I will ask the vet on Wednesday, when we have our "wellness" check-up and labs, and rabies shot. In the meantime, I think we'll go back to 1 capsule a day, given in the morning.

So far this morning we have had a good test, shot, breakfast, lung treat, a schmooze, a combing/brushing, and now a nap. Weather outside is awful: a little above freezing, wet, chilly, sodden snow on the ground (we only got about an inch), raining at the moment, and just generally unpleasant. No groundhog here saw his shadow, but I don't think spring will be right around the corner (it's supposed to go down to near zero tonight).

I think we'll stay home today. It wouldn't be much fun snowshoeing in this soup. I hope the weather is better where you are. I wonder what it will be like in NJ for the big game tonight?

Wishing you all a good day. Continuing to send healing vines to all who need them,

Ella & Rusty

Re: 2/2 Rusty AMPS 127

Nice start for Rusty today. I'm glad his breathing is better this morning. I don't blame you for not going out snowshoeing in that yucky weather.

Ok, an we say skydiving? Takie it easy, Rusty.

I'm glad you're not going outside where you're at. Too messy and cold. Hoping that Rusty gives you a lovely surf today. Have a great day, and please stay safe, and warm.

Wow, Rusty, what a dive! Surf that safe now, ok? I hope you are all having a nice indoor day, with some schmoozing :-D

Re: 2/2 Rusty AMPS 127, +5.5 50

Looks like Rusty is seriously thinking about a reducie. Nice diving this morning. Surf safely buddy. But at least he's cheering for the team with the blue and green uniforms.

Enjoy your day - our sun didn't get out until after noon, but we'd kind of like more snow on the mountains.

@Rusty - I got the pink curling team covered again today. I don't think there's a pink football team. Beans want me to support the blue/green team too. ~Neko

So sorry, Rusty had a congested evening. Wish we knew something about the meds you are using and could be of help. Glad to read he is having a much better morning!
Rusty, that +5.5  . Definitely lagoon meister material.

The Norwegian Paralympic curling team is following in the tradition of the brightly colored pants, and these are blue and green!

Wow....Rusty was sure working the juice today! I hope he surfed it safe or you, and that going back to one dose a day of the Allerplex helps with his congestion.

Have a great night, Ella!

Hi again,
Thanks for visiting us while we were wrapped up in Downton Abbey (and, for a while, the big game). Rusty decided to bounce off of that string of lower numbers he had yesterday and for part of today. His breathing/congestion was so-so today, but he has great appetite. I went back to giving Allerplex only once a day (in the morning) and will see if that makes any difference. Of course, the changeable weather could be the culprit.

Wishing you all a fine evening. I'll post the bedtime number shortly.

Hi Ella,
Sending lots of good breathing vines to Rusty.
I hope the Allerplex dose change will help.
That's really graet that his appetite is good even when he's congested! Tough boy!
