Hi Everyone,
Rusty and his papabean had a good day while I was out climbing a mountain. Rusty ate all his fuds, had a nice combing, and enjoyed looking out the window from his perch over the radiator.
My hike was very difficult. It was supposed to be relatively easy, but the snow was deep, making breaking trail difficult, and the trail was not marked well, so we took many wrong turns, had to bushwhack, and didn't even make it to the summit. The steep parts were really hard to negotiate. Weather was cold and quite windy. I was glad to get down from the mountain!
When I got home I saw about 5 or 6 deer in their beds in our woods. I love it when I see those heads sticking up out of the snowbanks. They are always on guard even when they are "sleeping". They know that we live here, so they don't feel they have to get up.
Now I'm going downstairs to veg out in front of the TV and hold Rusty's bowl for him. bbl,
