Yesterday - nice set of blues. Thanks for the late night visits Serryn and Tricia.

2/1 Recap:

Happy Groundhog Day everyone! No chance of the groundhog seeing his shadow here today. Another rainy PNW day. Kitties are camped indoors. Which they would be anyway because Mr. Excavator is going full throttle in the yard behind us. They want to move in December this year. I sure hope they move to quiet indoor work a lot before that or the neighbourhood will go crazy.

Typical morning for Neko. She wolfs her food then wait (im)patiently behind Theo for him to finish, or at least raise his head which is her cue to push him aside from his bowl. Fortunately this morning was venison so not much in the way of scraps. We had a good acupressure session, but I think she's due for acupuncture again. That's scheduled for tomorrow.

Vines to all in need today.

Wow, she's much more polite than Polly. After she's freed from her t/f/s room she head straightway to the kitchen, jumps on the counter where Boomer is dawdling with his food and just bull-dozes (oops, sorry for that reference) the little guy out of the way. Little guy gets a sneaky snack in the guest bathroom later.

Hope the day went well and Miss Neko continued to throw good numbers your way.

Ugh - dosecrease threat back on the table. 9 hours later, excavator is still rocking and rolling. Grump!

@ Marilyn, Carla - Nice start followed by zooming up. She's got tonight to prove she can keep this dose. Too much yellow for my taste. @pollydoodle - Neko used to do a lot more "bully dozing" the food, with growling, but she's mellowed more lately. Plus with the late Lev nadir she's more likely in better numbers at PS time so not as hungry.

I still say there is something in the air or they are conspiring against us! I hope she's back down tonight.

Lots of sun here today.:) I shouldn't rub it in... Looks like more jooce, Neko, but sometimes you've got to go up to come down. Ugh on the noisy excavating. Is it possible to do quiet excavating?
Liz

Hi Wendy,
9 hours! Bummer!! Are there noise ordinances in Vancouver residential neighborhoods? maybe you can complain.

Neko, is your bg being affected by the full moon?

Yo Neko, get the sushi knives sharpened. The fish will be right under the ice.
Rusty

Pretty blues for Neko- I sure don't envy you with all that noise from the excavating- poor baby! Yes, the skies are again crying tears for the Seahawks

I was surprised to read that Punxutawney Phil is right half the time LOL!:smuggrin:

OK Neko, down tonight or up tomorrow!

@ Elise, Liz, Ella, Ruth - Our bylaws limit construction noise to 13 hours a day. Thank goodness it gets dark after about 9 of those, so noise stops then. Neko started getting playful after the noise stopped. Then I scooped them up and did pawdicures. Maybe Ella is right on the full moon, not that we can see it here. @Tiger and Ruth - Did you know that all the Groundhog Day weather predicting rodents are male? Nuff said. ;)
@Rusty - Gotta use the knives, she trimmed my nails! Got my rod set for ice fishing. ~Neko
