2/2 moo. Amps 291, +4=174, +7=213, PMPS 217, +4.5=154

291 this morning! Ugh!!

I think he may have gotten some of the civis dry food last night. Could that be the cause?
Another ? Is how long before you start noticing that insulin is going bad? I got his 12/5, so it's been 2 months now.

Sorry my ss isn't updated yet but I'm doing this on my phone in bed.

Yes, the dry food will make his numbers rise, and unfortunately it usually takes longer to get out of their system, than just some regular higher carb wet food does.

I have used insulin for 6 month before, but that was way back when I wasn't even on the board yet, and was using the vials. If the insulin is bad, you will see floaties in it. Does it look clear and clean to you?

Sometimes, if the insulin is turning toasty, numbers will get wonky. I don't see that on Moo's SS. It's probably contraband that's the issue.

Could still be the dry food causing that. Maybe the insulin was able to pull the numbers back down briefly, but now you're past nadir, so the insulin isn't doing as much? Allowing the dry food to take back over? Just a thought.

Yeah, hopefully he is working it out of his system.
He seems VERY hungry today...
Down to 154 at +4.5 tonight, which is nice to see the 150s again!

Could you update your subject line with your current data? It allows us to see how Moo's doing and if there are any problems if we're scanning the Board.

Yep but you can take the AMPS numbers out once you start PMPS. Moo is looking good...coming back down!
