Morning ~O) ~O) and back up to high blue for Maggie's AMPS, but nice drop at the +2. I normally don't test at +2, but Maggie has been quite vocal this morning, so I thought she might be dropping. I just started a new juice vial, so we'll see if any difference in bg's. I'm doing another little fuds experiment and holding the NV raw to see if her numbers remain the same as when I use the raw. Even though it's 4% carbs, the 5% veg, fruits and other ingredients might be the cause, with Mags being super sensitive to carbs. The NV raw has honey as an added ingredient, too. I'm going to place a call to NV and ask some questions, and if I learn anything new, I'll post here. All P's in place, and I heard the rustle of little legs doing a zoom zoom while I was measuring little one's dose of juice! Have a nice day. Too early yet so I've not yet made any plans.

Nice +2 Maggie! Good luck with the food investigation. Maggie is so carb sensitive. I wish Tarragon had a little of that.

Today sounds like a good day for a walk. Do you have groundhogs in CA? Did they see their shadows??

That's a good question, I don't think we do have those critters. I have to tune in to the Today show and see the star, Mr. Groundhog! I've only seen possums, skunks and a giant raccoon :-D that smashes his face up against the patio pane! He must smell some of Maggie's fuds.

Those veggies and honey sound pretty carbey. It would be too bad if that has raised her BGs. It's so hard to find something they like.

Nice +2 for Maggie! Good luck with the new vial and fuds experiments. My question is....why would a manufacturer purposely put honey in cat food??? Seems odd to me...I'm curious to hear what you learn.

Linda, that's what I thought, as veggies are carbs.

Amy, I know honey in the raw. I'm glad I looked closer at the ingredients. I wouldn't think the Beans here who make their own would add veggies or honey.

Mags is looking pretty okay today...could go a little lower if you wanted to, though, Maggie girl!!

Hope you get your answers on the food experiments. It can be so frustrating finding a food our kitties like that are still good for them!!

You know with all of our different professions and expertise we should start making our own cat food! One that is good for diabetics to eat at the very least.

I hope you get some good answers from NV about Mags' kitty fuds. She does seem to be very carb sensitive, must be so hard for you trying to find fuds that she likes and that's actually good for her.

Hi Patty, yes, she could go lower and I'll probably need to go up a drop eventually. I'll see how the fuds experiment goes with Mags.

Hi Tracy, yes, pretty hard finding something Mags liks and that is both low in carbs and phosphorus. There are a few Beans here who do make their own raw,
