Maggie is eating better with the Merrick duck, still not always with gusto, but I feel much better. I've started her on digestive enzymes, so hopefully it will just keep improving.
DH and I went to my mom's to fix her kitchen faucet and it turned into a much longer full replacement job. Maggie hadn't had any food all afternoon, so I fed her at +11, so the PS of 127 was food influenced. I was surprised by a BG of 69 at +3. Lowest nadir I've caught in 3 weeks!

I’m glad the duck is working out for now. I hope she keeps interested in it. Are the digestive enzymes for pancreatitis? I’ve been reading a little bit about it, is it supposed to take the load off for it to calm down a bit? I want to address the pancreatitis as soon as some of the more immediate issues relax.

Nice +3, hopefully a sign of better things to come. Feel better, Maggie girl! :bighug::bighug::bighug:

Oh, they help with all those things? I didn't know! Tell me more, tell me more. Where did you read about them, what kind to give and how much?
Possible IBD led me to them after this condo earlier this week. Honestly, I didn't do any deep research into them... An IBD group recommends them, so I went for it. @Carol in Chicago sent me some Dr Goodpet which touts "Protease, amylase, lipase and cellulase enzymes (derived from Aspergillus) Trichoderma, Lactobacillus acidophilus." Dr Goodpet mentions helping the trifecta of organs, so I thought, all the better! Dosage says 1/2 teaspoon per cup of food. I'm doing 1/16 teaspoon with 4-6 meals a day.
