You should always get a test before shooting insulin - regardless.

These FD cats can be the trickiest of the tricky! And will pull out a low number just to throw you off. Please, please please....NEVER ever give insulin without testing first.

If for any reason, you cannot test - then best practice is not to shoot at all. I cannot implore this enough - it's just too dangerous.

AMPS 139. I'll do a +4 next. So much testing the last couple days it's been disruptive to our routines. And at this point I think the disruption is causing stress and pushing the numbers higher. I don't know I'm tired and cranky

+4 at 77. It's hard not to get complacent when he is so stable but I'll keep it up. I got complacent with his symptoms late in 2019 I'm not doing that again.

I'm glad that I didn't drop his dose. He doesn't appear ready for it quite yet

I'm hoping you got another test at +5 or +6. With the 77 at +4, Joseph may have heard you and decided to drop into dose reduction territory.

PMPS 122

I unfortunately was not in a position to test at that point. At some point I need to trust the data. The AMPS wasn't a new low, the nadir wasn't a new low. All the data suggested that he climbs after his nadir at +4 and he had a good meal.

I really appreciate all the advice and all you looking out for my little man.
