Sorry guys, I havent been on due to several reasons. Starting back the new semester has been hectic. Lots to do and extremely tired when I have getting home. The DH has been testing and I have kept up with the numbers, but just have been able to come on and update. Then my brother went into the hospital with quadrupedal bypass surgery and I have been up there alot after leaving work. Doogle's numbers have been great but got up this morning an hour before shot time, tested an someone decided to be low. Dont know if we had nadir late or what. So fed him some HC and he is back up to 87. Will test him at preshot and decide what to do from there. Going to delay for 30 mins. I know I have shot below 200 but I want to make sure everything is ok. Then we will check him in 2 hours and then I have to go to the hospital (brother is still in ICU).

Well that 38 earns Doogle a dose reduction to 3.25 units. Congratulations on that.

I hope you brother is doing well.

Do you have plenty of test strips and HC on hand for today, if your DH should need to use it?

Oh yeah........I knew about the reduction and I am glad he is getting it. I bought 200 test strips 2 weeks ago.....LOL.

A good day overall. I am sure he will bounce tonight. Doogle tends to bounce on the next cycle after a low day. Brother is better. He is awake and they took out the breathing tube but is still in the ICU. My brother, although 54, has a learning disabilty. He doesnt get most things and is a simple guy. He is a great guy nonetheless. He is scared though and tends to worry about everything. He was trying not to cry and get upset but I could see he was. Hopefully he will get the leads out of his heart and be moved to a regular room. He will probably be in the hospital for a week or more. But he is a strong person and will probably bounce back fast because he doenst want to be still for to long.
