Good Morning LL

Checks was hungry this morning and ate more than usual. When he asked for more of his lc, I gave it to him. He knows how his tummy feels.
At +2, he was sitting in the kitchen, at dining spot. I swear he knows the time. This time,he got a little hc mixed with the rest of the breffis food. He licked the gravy out of it.
I was hoping to thwart the big drop he gets around +3.

eta: well that worked a bit too well for the +3 :roll:

It's so hard to figure out when to give them the higher carb food. The times we try to be proactive and give them the food BEFORE they dive, that's when they decide not to and we've carbed them for no reason!!! I gave Champ some FF T&G this morning with his +1 meal to try to soften any dive he might decide to do this morning.....just wait, he'll climb instead!!! You're not alone, Barb....I'm right there with you in the same boat!!

Tell Susan I said hi!!! It was nice of her to ask about me!!

Well Patty, you were right about the proactive thing. I needn't have bothered trying to avoid a big drop today.
That half teas hc, was not enough to drive his numbers up like this, so I don't know what's going on today.
Well, his little ears will be getting a rest today. It's highly unlikely he'll be doing any dropping now.

What a flat pink kitty you have today. Uh Checkers??? Pink is definitely not your color. Wonder what caused that. I bet it's because he's a cat. :lol: I can never figure it out. Hope he enjoys the little pokey break and decides to come down for you.

What happened to giving Checks' ears a rest today? :lol: These darn kitties, we think we know them, then they throw us curve balls and leave us wondering what the heck just happened?!?! Oh well, Checkers got himself some yummy HC fuds today for nothin'.

Tracy, he had a four hour rest from poking, today. Once I know he's not going to drop, I leave him alone.

I had a terrible time with syringes tonight. I couldn't get bubbles out, and the flicking just made more bubbles and screwed up the insulin.
I had to toss 3 of them, before I got a good dose.
I'm wondering if I gave a bad dose this morning and didn't see it. Although I don't see how I could possibly miss it, with all I go thru with magnifying glass etc.

Twelve hours sure is a long time.
 
Barb: but he was FLAT!!! YAY!!!! Progress!! Now he just needs to bring it down a couple floors.
