Max has been vomiting bile the last few days so back to the vet we went today. The culture was negative and so was the ultrasound and x-rays. It did like he could be having some pancreatitis issues but not alarming. I'm thinking it's progression of CKD like I thought. he went down from 15 lbs 9.5 oz to 15 lbs 7 oz in the week. I think he needs potassium and I know my vet will say wait until we retest in three weeks. I'm thinking of adding just a little now on my own. He will likely need a phosphorus binder as well.
As far as the BG he has been doing okay. Thanks for checking in on us Ruth.

Does he get Slippery Elm Bark at all? I could not give it to Tiger, her Calcium was on the high side of norml... I hope if this is pancreatitis, that it goes away quickly!! I hope he re-gains that weight quickly and feels better. You will be in my thoughts and prayers! Your momtoo!
