What a crappy morning.

AMPS 448 No rhyme or reason as to why.
Recap pm cycle:

PMPS 351 1.6u given and fed
+3 255
+5 128 given his frozen snack. Usual amount.
+7 132
AMPS 448

Pretty sure he does not need an increase in insulin as he hit 58 @ +7 two cycles back. Possible that he is still clearing out the bounce, I guess. Then again, I guess anything is possible including ufo's, elves, unicorns and fairies. Wish I could catch a break. At least give me a week of solid #'s and the occasional crap cycle. Not necessarily the other way around...Bah. 1.6u given and fed.

Hope to see great #'s out there, keeps hope alive for me.

Sorry it is such a crappy morning..we all have those kinda days, even Jax
they really are good numbers though, it looks like the insulin just didnt last as
long as it does sometimes...
Hang in there and hope you have a great day!

Psst. Jax! Hang on to the insulin just a bit longer for momma bean, would ya? She likes seeing those nicer yellows for just a bit longer. ok? Yeah, I know you gave her a bunch of purr-ty blues. Yeah, I know it takes a while to reach the pinks. Yeah, I know if she'd checked a bit earlier she would have got a yellow. Would you still try for momma bean though, to hold on just a bit longer? It's what I try to do for my momma bean. They like those yellows at the end. You will? Cool, dude! ~The Poopster

Those pinks always throw me a bit too, Lisa. I've often wondered, now that I can test, feed, shoot within minutes how that has changed my PS numbers. When I started this dance, it took over half an hour from test to shoot. We all know how much a number can rise at the end in 30 minutes! :o

Thanks ladies for putting it in perspective for me. I seriously needed that. :YMHUG: Gosh, you are all great. Now, off to seize the day.

Lisa,
That isn't a terrible curve. He dropped 50% by +5, probably a bit more by +6, and that dose kept him that low for at least 3 hours in the middle. Yeah, the AMPS was an unwelcome number, but the dose looks like it is a good one. Not too much drop, but plenty of drop, you know? It's just one number, just one isolated minute in a day. At least a dozen "other factors" besides that tiny amount of insulin in that syringe influence their BG numbers over the course of a day. So maybe the dose didn't "last as long as it usually does", but that doesn't mean much in the overall scheme of things.
Hope today was seized!

Carl

Yes! I had a fantastic day today!

PMPS 334 1.6u given and fed. Hope not to get any alarming #'s this evening as I need some serious beauty sleep. Pooped.
