Yesterday's Condo
Willie continues to do very well. Lots of BTB cuddles this morning, and then he "helped" me do my taxes (by laying on all the papers, constantly bumping my hand on the mouse, etc.). Glad to have them done and be getting a decent refund. This talk of a government shutdown has me nervous. If it happens, and goes on for more than a week, I will likely end up not getting paid at least one check (in some cases, they make it up later, but still. doesn't get the bills paid on time!). Thankfully, my refund is just under what a regular take-home check would be, so I can sock it into savings and know that bills will get paid if that happens. After tennis lessons, going to come home and breakdown chickens for freezing and making chicken stock. At least the house will smell yummy!
