Yesterday

So with this morning's AMPS I was thinking it was time to ponder a dosecrease...it had been a few days since she's really budged or seen the lagoon. But, in her usual fashion, she read my mind and decided she didn't need no stinkin' dosecrease and headed back to the lagoon!

I weighed civvies Zen and Petey yesterday. They were the that go so sick and lost so much weight eating the Blue Basics Grain Free Turkey and Potato. Since switching them off that fuds and onto the Science Diet Hairball/Purina One Hairball blend, they have both gained back all the weight they lost in just one month - that's about 2lbs each!!! Petey is back up over 10lbs, checking in at 10.2lbs (he's a little kitty to begin with), and Zen is at 14.8lbs. I am so pleased...

Morning Amy, oh that Trixie girl :mrgreen: :mrgreen: the dose threat worked, amazing. That's great to hear that Petey and Zen are doing so well on the new fuds and gaining weight. You've really worked to find aan agreeable food. Have a great day.

Absolutely no dosecrease here!

What a looooooong day. I had to leave right after that +4, and I had to teach ALL day - I couldn't come home and check on her. I carbed her up with HC as I left, and prayed. Her track record does indicate that she generally rises and/or surfs after +4, so I kept my fingers crossed that between the carbs and her history, she'd be safe. I so do not like leaving her on days like this!!!

Fortunately, she is fine...phew. And I am relieved to be back home with her and the entire herd.

Hi Amy.....I'm so glad Miss Trixie stayed safe today. It's nerve wracking, when you have to leave with a lower number.

How wonderful that Zen & Petey are doing well on the different food, and put the weight back on! :smile:

This exhausted bean is very excited to announce that Surf Is Up.

Tomorrow is my day off, so hopefully I can get many more condo visits in, but for now I really must try and get some sleep. I am worn down to a nub. Ni Ni, my LL family!
 
Hey, Amy - Sounds like you had quite a day! Beautiful numbers for Trixie - guess that dosecrease worked - YAY!

Gorgeous day for Trix and looks like she did great with the HC on board. Wonderful!

I'm so happy to hear Petey and Zen are better! What an amazing mom you are!
