Could Taz be in a bounce? Or could his numbers be based on pain? Because of the possible pancreatitis flare up on Monday-Thursday, we gave cerenia Tuesday-Friday, and Bupe Monday night until yesterday morning.

I'm trying not to keep him on medication if he's not showing symptoms of pain, but could his higher numbers be a sign that he still is? I'm supposed to do his curve today but I don't know if I should do it with or without medication? I'm worried that if he's in pain, his curve will reflect that by being higher numbers, I'll increase insulin, and then if I have to give meds again, his numbers will come back down too much.

We had to leave the house yesterday, so I wasn't able to see how low he went. Should curves be done while they're on medication, or does it matter?

Do the curve. I think it’s time to increase but let’s see. I always continued with medication for pancreatitis for a few days after Max returned to normal. Then I withdrew one thing, tapering off before stopping each one at a time and waited to see if he was still good. If any sign of regression I restarted the medication.
