Good morning and Happy Saturday!
Shadow is doing well this morning. It is so nice to see those greens that he managed to get in between the yellows. I set the alarm and got up again at 4:45am to check him. . I had just picked up Raja and she was on the testing towel. I spied him next to me on the floor and I bent down to pick him up for his shot. He dodged me and ran under the table. I was taken by surprise but even more surprised when he came around the other side and jumped onto the chair and then onto the table!! He was so animated as he laid down on the testing towel. :lol:
HE doesn't need me to pick him up! HE can jump up there by himself, thank you very much!

I am always amazed each shot time that he is so "there" and willing. He wants me to know in no uncertain terms that he is ready and willing to get his insulin!! He acts so proud to know what comes next and BE there for both the testing and the shots. What a wonderful patient he is!! My DD came up yesterday and she kept exclaiming over how great he looks now. She said he looks like a different cat!! She said the same thing 2 days ago...LOL.. Guess his transformation is obvious to others besides me!

It's nice to hear how well Shadow is doing and to have DD notice the difference. That's so cute to see Shadow telling you he can get up all by himself on the testing towel, thank you very much! Have a nice weekend, Pat.

What a good boy Shadow is! I will not let Gabby discuss testing and shooting with Shadow. Gabby is of the belief that I am here to serve and she must be fetched/carried to be tested. And, of course, food is the only appropriate reward for her trouble. (I can just hear what she's thinking: "What?" Me, jump up there? Right! You're kidding, aren't you? You want me in the kitchen, on the counter then you better come and get me and my feet better not touch the floor.")

Isn't great when you have a cooperative kitty? Shadow is such a good boy. It is so good to hear that he is doing so well.

I gasped when I saw the pink on the meter. What? Pink?
If the kitties can go wild on a full moon, then I think I shall join them. Moon madness reigns.....
