Max cleared the bounce overnight then rose back up some at amps. He didn’t get anything else to eat after pm+4. So, that led me to think (a) is it possible that he bounced again, even in these higher numbers or (b) is he losing duration or (c) is that just normal? If he is losing duration, why would he have such a drastic drop early in the cycle the next morning on those bounce clearing cycles?

I have even questioned if the dose was too high because of the drastic drop he has early in the cycle, but his nadirs do not reflect that. Today, I probably shouldn’t have added that 12% at am + 2.5, but he dropped almost 50 points in 30 minutes even after the 9% was given. If I’d waited the whole hour, it would have been a 100 point drop.

I’ve given him larger helpings of food as well, but his tummy doesn’t handle that very well. Max needs many small meals as far as his GI system goes. I think he would have made it to green without the 12%, but I knew he couldn’t hold much more food and he would have had another bounce like last night without it.

If he could just start with a low ps number, he usually stays stable. Wendy, if he has another bounce like last night I’m up for trying that R, if you are around. If not, I understand.

After all that, he’s headed back up so instead of trying to figure the impossible out, I think I will try another small increase tomorrow and just go with the flow.
