Not sure what's going on with Max today, maybe bouncing still. He had a little upset tummy this morning and seemed nauseous. He had already taken his Zofran at AMPS. Gave him a 16 mg Cerenia at AMPS +2. Eating well now. Not as playful this morning, mostly sleepy. @Wendy&Neko I took some time and posted all of the labs I have on Max up until this point, including his T-4 and his old GI panel from before, if you want to take a look at that when you have time. Thanks!

Did you get any tests after PMPS last night? Just wondering if last night was a high before going lower. Or not. Can't tell.

For the labs, I just took a quick scan of them. If any of the values are out of range, it helps if you highlight the value, either red text or bold or something like that.

Poor guy on his tummy, hope it's better soon.

Wendy, I am starting to think that maybe I forgot to give Max his insulin this morning! I know that sounds crazy and so irresponsible but I have so much on my mind these days and I’m usually so careful about Max. He was sick on his stomach this morning and had diarrhea first thing so I was all involved in that and got out of my routine I think. I remember feeding him and giving him his Zofran. I can’t remember for certain that I gave him the shot. I’m so upset about that. I’ve been upset too because I’ve started having chest pain and palpitations again since I had covid. I had to go to see a cardiologist for an echo yesterday and have to go back on Monday to discuss it. Last year I had to have a cardiac ablation so this has really been worrying me. I just can’t believe I would forget his shot. I normally don’t chart anything until I’ve done it all, but this morning with him being sick and the way I am right now…I just don’t know. I can’t believe I would forget it but his numbers are so high it makes me second guess. I hope you don’t think I’m crazy. I did get two tests last night both were high. I documented those. I highlighted the labs as you suggested. @Wendy&Neko

Thanks for the SS update, latest labs look pretty good. And as you said, either a bounce or "fur shot" or miss today. I had a paper logbook that I updated right after the shot, as part of my regular routine. Sounds like you have a lot on your mind. :bighug: I don't think you are crazy, just distracted. It happens to all of us. The one good thing about a higher dose, is that if you did miss the shot, the depot will help take care of things. I did more than my fair share of unplanned fur shots.

Thank you Wendy. I just feel really bad about it. I have a notebook that I log in as well and I did write it in the notebook. I just can’t remember giving it to him. I have never done that! Plenty of fur shots but never just plain forgot it. Not sleeping well from worrying doesn’t help. I will feel better after I talk to the doctor I hope. I don’t know if I should put something on the SS next to his dose this morning? Since I’m not sure I didn’t know what to do about that. He’s had his pm dose for sure! I just gave it to him.
Edit: I did put a note on the SS about possible missed dose.

You aren't the first, and won't be the last, to forget, or find a filled syringe hours later on the counter. Good plan to note on the SS that you aren't sure about the AM shot.
