Good Morning LL!! ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) (YUM! Elsa outdid herself this morning: PRIMO!), and Happy Wacky Wednesday!
LL! It's is I, Elsa, KBP!, president and CEO of Coffee Cat! Life is GOOD! GUESS WHAT! GUESS WHAT! Today is WACKY WEDNESDAY!!! Just like every Wednesday Lola and Bug SWEAR that it won't be wacky pizzas, just wacky Wednesday. Whatever that means.... The whack-a-thon marathons continue. Excellent pizzas to the best whacker! so... well... Coffee time! For today, I proudly offer Elsa's special 10 hour energy coffee, and triple shot espressos, with beans from Starbucks Pike Place Market, their original blend, AND.... for all my Mocha fans: a venti quad peppermint white chocolate mocha, with peppermint infused whip, garnished with peppermint candy chips and white chocolate shavings... It's Christmas! We have to have peppermint! ....SWEET! OH! No worries, a dollop of mint and vanilla and cimmamum swirl ice cream, on top of a dollop of fudge, topped with peppermint chips and chocolate drizzle.... Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh....... mega good! TJ's dunking cookies and Cronuts always on the menu!

I hope everyone had a great Tuesday, that the day was been a good one. We did OK here, kinda laid back once I got through the tax stuff. Lola was my helper once again... She sees paper and it's like she can't help herself, she just has to annihilate it.  This was from yesterday morning, but I had to share again, as it is so typical of the way tings roll around here: It was about 7AM, and " CRR-AASSSHHHHH!!!!!!! Smash! THUD! splinter, splinter, splinter.... and down went two photos, glass broken all over the floor... and in the middle of it all sat Lola and Bug, with the cheering committee, aka Elsa, off to the side, rooting them on. :-x :?  Seems the marathon runners were very busy, running a warp speed, and chose a path that was amongst the framed photographs on one of the bookcases. Seriously guys? What is wrong with running and jumping and careening on the floor? Their look said it all "But MOM!!! That is not as much FUNS!" Guess so.    So we have cleaned it all up, the photos are still good, and now we check paws for glass. You gotta love it. In the meantime, Elsa went to bed and Bug and Lola have moved their track meet upstairs. ;-) " This is what I wrote last night about the day: "Hi Everyone! I hope your day has been a good one. We did well here today. Things got done, I got out for a while, kitties are happy without any house destruction. :-D t has been so rainy and windy here, just awful all day. About 4 or so the sun broke though and it looks like we will have a really nice sunset tonight. The calm before the next pending storm, per the TWC: Rain, becoming more intermittent by 7pm. Mostly cloudy and windy. Temperatures slowly falling to near 39F. Winds SW at 20 to 25 mph. Chance of rain 85%. Well looks like we are not out of the woods, and neither are the mountain passes. They predict 2-3 more days of the same old stuff. The last report was that the snow is falling at 2-3" per hour at stevens pass, crazy.... Snoqualmie Pass has been closed most if the day. impressive snow fall.... YaHOO! Got the taxes done. Hooray on that. All done, but not filed. I will take a fresh look at them In a day or so, make sure all looks good, and I didn't screw something up, then file. It is such a relief to have them done, and to know I don't have to pay Uncle Sam. Happy dance! Seattle was good, alot of talk with Barb on the new manager they hired. Another case where the did not go with experience, rather with the new face, no prior payroll knowledge etc. I just do not understand the logic these days, why they hire youth over experience, especially when the position is a corporate payroll manager, with a payroll of over 85000 employees, covering just about every state we have.... . They will suffer as the new kid on the block is clueless.... oh well. Makes it tough, those that should get the job don't... imho, for sure. well anyways - it was good to see Barb, nice time, goods coffee. YAY! "

Normalcy in MusketeerVille!   The kitties were good kitties yesterday, even Lola, for the most part... Lola decided that once again she would be my tax assistant. Such a helpful kitty she was! She'd rip, I'd chase her out, she'd come back with that look on her face was like "What? Why you mad? I'm just helping, see? " And back she'd do again.   Normalcy in MusketeerVille! She was one lucky kitty yesterday - with the photo crash and burn she got to play vacuum again. One happy girl! Bug and Elsa were more than annoyed that at 8AM is was vacuuming. Seemed I was disturbing their beauty sleep.  Bug has a new routine too. When I'm starting dinner or getting food items ready for the boys for the next day he will come and sit next to me on the counter. He loves to watch the food prep. And the fact that he gets a chicken snack if he's good. Of course he's good.... snack away Bug! Normalcy in MusketeerVille!

Have a great day everyone. I am back on Nicholas and William duty today. Nicholas and I are off to swim this morning, while William spends that time at the other grandparents. We are due for some very wet weather, 90% chance of rain, so I am sure that after the pool it will be an indoor day for the boys. We shall see... maybe we will get lucky and see that yellow thing in the sky. :-D I will try and get to condos when I can....

KITTIES! Remember: think BLUE, think GREEN!! cat_pet_icon

One delicious ~O) here, please! :-D

Oh my goodness! I'm glad that nobody got hurt by that glass. You're a wonderful Momma to them, Michelle. :YMHUG:

It's a nice feeling to have the taxes done, isn't it? All done for another year.

Have a great day, guys, and stay safe, please.

Maybe THAT is why Lola broke the picture frame - she needed a new excuse to play vacuum! Crazy girl! How sweet that Bug helps with food prep. I love when they just hang out, observing what we do. You need a special "toy tax" pile of paper, so she can think she's helping you while you work on the real stuff! I'm sure she takes her job as assistant very seriously.

Have a great day, Michelle!

Morning everyone! Hmmmmm... a delicious Elsa ~O) concoction inone hand, and tasted bagel in the other... perfecto! the cam before the arrival of Nicholas and William.

Morning Amy ~O) ~O) ~O) oh HAHA, and could be on Lola. Maybe that glass breaking photo thing was just a ploy so she could play vacuum again.  Me too o Bug - he never misses that opportunity, and it is fun to have him just hang out and watch, and watch his reaction when he realizes that there really is a piece for him. ;-) I like that idea for Miss Lola - a toy paper pile! YES! Now why didn't I think of that.... she does take her job so seriously that I had bet accommodate her.

Morning Angela ~O) ~O) ~O) me to on that glass. I got really lucky the way the photo fell to the floor, glass side down, so most of the broken pieces were under the photo. A relief, but since there were a few scattered pieces they all got the once over, just be be sure. A big YES on the taxes, a huge relief, and I am so glad it's done. YAY!!!! THX on today, and will do on the safe.
Auntie Angela - you gots it! on my way, like pronto! ~~ Elsa, KBP

Aww, that is sweet that lola wants to help out so much :-D But I agree with Amy , perhaps she needs her own pile of paperwork to sift through! Seems like bug has the right idea, hanging out in the kitchen for that extra treat he just might get!

I'm glad no kitties got glass in their paws. Bug is a smart kitty. Hanging around while you get food ready so he can get a snack. Yay on finishing your taxes! Have a good day with the boys.

Hmmmmmm, maybe the kitties are telling you something about those pictures?

How comes our pitures aren't here? - Lola and Bug

We sure wish you could chat up Mother Nature and get her to send those lovely snows to Flagstaff!

Hi Everyone! I hope your day has been a good one. Ours was great! event the weather was great! :-D   The sun was out with blue skies around 8 or so, stayed with us until about 2. There were some rains on and off after that. Temp was 48 tops, not bad, not bad at all. It was just so cool to have a sunny, somewhat warmer day. :-D Boys had a good day today. We swam, DUH, in the morning. That was pretty much normal stuff: water sides, deep sea diving, noodle fun, buckets, etc..... He plays hard when he's there. Another two hours today in the pool, and he knew when he was done. It's like the switch gets switched he turns to me and says All Done. and so he is. He's getting more comfortable with the guards, and will talk to them and those he knows there more now. So maybe soon we can get that swim test stuff done. maybe. Today one of them asked him if he could show her how he jumps in the water. Funny - he climbed out and did what she asked. YAY! So we are getting closer. I had asked him early on if when done with the pool if he wanted to hike the trail there, since we had alot of sun today, and the temps were up. This was great: A big yelled YES was teh answer. so put that on the "plan" today. Anyways -I got his lunch going in the car where we always eat - he calls it camping (HAHA), and he says he really wants to do the trail, but only is William comes too. Guess he wanted to show him the ropes. That really was fun. It has been a few months since we have walked that trail, and once he got on it it was like he had met up with a long lost best friend. He just lit up. He told William where everything was, what berries grew where, and showed him both bridges. ALot of the brush hasn't grown or filled in yet, so we were really able to explore the "woods" and the creek. What a nice time for both of them. Loved it. :-D We came home soon after so Nicholas could take a much needed nap. William too. What an awesome day. I will post the Picasa link to the photos in tomorrow's condo.

Hi Devon - Yes she sure does like being my little helper. I start to so anything and she is right there. In all seriousness Amy's idea really is a good one. She'd be content to have her own stack! Yupp on Bug - all I have to do is walk into the kitchen and he shows up, in the hopes that I will be making something...

Hi Carla - Me too on the glass. I was worried about them, but they got checked out, and I couldn't find any, nor any blood or anything. Phew! I tnhink so too on Bug - never ever misses a chnace for any sort of fuds. GO BUG! THX on today - it was alot of fun. :-D :-D :-D

Hi Anne - LOL on the pic! It was a photo from WWII, taken in Germany by my DH's grandfather - anyways... maybe thy thought it was way out of date, and since they weer not the subject, time for a new one! Starring.... tada! Lola and Bug!  Hey - will work on that mother nature thing and send the surplus. The mountains here have really received so much snow. A month ago we were so worried that we would not have enough, not we seem to have more than we need. Crazy!
