A good start this morning in the blues

As for Kai's elevated Kidney levels, I have no news today. He acts like he feels good this morning and is eating and playing normal. ‍ Maybe we will hear back from his doctor today on further instructions on how to stabilize those levels. She was out yesterday. I am also still getting my account set up over at Tanyas CKD forum.

We are supposed to get some snow today. I hope everyone stays warm!

It looks like he broke that bounce quickly last night. Good work, Kai!
I looked back at your condos and saw the newest issues he's struggling with. Did they determine he has CKD? Tanya's is an excellent resource.
I'm so sorry for both of you that you're navigating these difficult issues on top of FD.

Thank you everyone for the well wishes and support. Kai's vet is still out of the office and there is currently a snowstorm outside. I doubt I will be speaking to her anytime soon. I have emailed her and I am waiting for a response. It's weird how the urgency she showed at his Friday appointment has just disappeared. I'm trying not to over think things especially when Kai isn't physically showing any sings of kidney failure or kidney injury.

Anyways, he has had a really nice cycle today. Blues and greens.
I went in to work this morning before the snow hit and then decided to leave a few hours early before things could get really bad. He was excited to see me get home early. We had some FD treats and played in the amazon boxes for a bit. ( Anyone else have a box tax at your house? Any and all boxes must be given to the cat ). Afterwards I opened the balcony door to see if I could coax him into playing in the snow. He was interested for a minute and then decided it was too cold and that he would rather curl up on his favorite soft blanket and nap until dinner & shot time this evening.

I hope everyone else has had a warm and calm day

We also have the box tax at our house. Unfortunately, though, mine don't get much time with the boxes because one of mine (Hazel) eats the boxes.
