It's Caturday in LL but a sad one as we send our deepest condolences to Ele as her much beloved Blackie crossed the RB. If you didn't see my condo last night, I have established a "LL" group at the following link where you can go and light a candle for Blackie (it's free) and there are already at least 13 candles lit.

WCR: 5Ps in place and a spunky girl this morning who is back...you guessed it....in the 40s. WHAT??? I do have her up to 57 now at +3.5. This morning I got her juice drawn up and set it on the library stand while I went to get her. When I came back, Tobey...who is now obviously able to stand up and reach the top shelf, had gotten it and was rolling it around on the floor...and it was full of bubbles. So I had to draw a new dose and I hope I didn't hold the syringe at the wrong angle and get a little too much insulin...but I don't think so; I try to take my time and be certain it is the same. She may just be doing better right now this time around. We're all happy about that.

Mike got in last night and we've had a busy morning....he has to leave again this afternoon and I had to run my car down to the shop. We're still expecting the big rains today. I'm going to grab my own breffis and check in with you all later.

We are sending all our healing vines to our sick LL kitties: Whiskers, Willow, Rocket, Butthead and any others I have missed.

Morning!! Looks like a busy one there... but Gracie - a 42??? Perhaps that is why Mannie has been in a hurry to find the greens. Tess is at 50, you are at 42, he just hit 91. Looks like green in the color of the day. A little higher for you though - up Gracie!

The lighting of the candles is very nice. I hope many will visit the site, and light some for Blackie.

Gracie, did Tobey get your insulin all shook up?? Bummer!! Hi Marjorie, maybe Tobey is jealous that Gracie gets insulin and he doesn't. Looks like Gracie wants to do a little diving today, so I hope you get her leveled out so she can surf.

The light-a-candle website is a great idea. Thanks for setting it up. All of our kitties' candles at the party made a huge glow in the sky to light Blackie's way last night.

the sous chefs must have hatched a plan while they were cooking last night, but Gracie is winning the race. Our storm from yesterday must be heading your way, we got big winds and 2" of rain.

GOOD GRIEF GRACIE!!!! See, Ann...what did I say and what is it with these two girls? In 1.5 hours??? ohmygod_smile :lol: :lol: Well, she hasn't been up there long because I checked her urine for ketones and there was no sugar in it and she's been running around here diving in and out of her paper bag and crinkle sacks. OK all you bouncey kitties' livers: let go of the steering wheel and let the pancreas drive!! IT's OK! :lol: :lol: :lol:

Even though it's been windy all day and it smells like rain, I can tell from my cool weather radar app on my new Droid X (LOVIN' IT!!) that the storm is going NW of us. Bummer...we really need the rain. Mike headed back to work....we had an absolutely lovely, quiet day including a nap. Gosh how I miss him when he goes back to work but he'll be home tomorrow night.

Time for din din and looks like an early night for us!

Sienne...after I saw Gabby's numbers, I was hopeful, whispering to Gracie..."do what Gabby did". But no...Miss Gracie the diva has her own thoughts.
