He isn't himself still. But he is eating and drinking, so thats good. I hope he was able to sleep last night. I'm not really worried about ketones, but if he still seems icky tonight, I may try and get a ketone test in. Im more worried about pancreatitis. When he got it last year, it was jumpstarted by vet stress.

Poor Gordy! It's unbelievable what stress can do to their systems. I hope he snaps out of it soon. Too funny of how he becomes a Tiger at the vets.

Oh poor Gordy. I hope he shakes the rest of the cobwebs off soon. I'm so thankful both of my kids are pretty calm at the vet. Lou kind of freezes during the exam, but the last time I brought him in, one of the techs expressed excitement to see him because he was "such a sweetheart" during blood draws. I've noticed the vet stopped having a tech in there with her and just lets me "hold" him (he really doesn't move much). I'm thankful it's not more of a production, since he's had to be in more often than I'd like. Hugs to you and vines to Mr. G!

Thankfully he seems to be feeling better. He is hung over from his roller coaster high yesterday, but he is eating, drinking and sleeping. (That last part is important since whatever was in that sedative cocktail made him restless.) He was cuttin' some ZZZs and snoring... I love when he snores.

Too funny of how he becomes a Tiger at the vets.

Its not funny when you're there he is scary! My boy is part maine coon and can easily tear your skin with his teeth... i remember this one time, after the vet was done, I was assisting him back to his carrier (where he wanted to be!!!) When he turned a bit me. And he bit me HARD. I luckily had a sweatshirt on. Skin didnt technically break, but the dents bruised badly and I actually have scars from it. I believe that if my bare arm was bit, I would have needed medical attention

That's one thing I don't have to do when Bubba's at the vets. I open the top of the carrier and sit it on the floor. When the doc is done, Bubba jumps off the table and slam dunks into the top of the carrier. It is hysterical!
