Alex is being very good today ... so far. All P's in order and he is actually relaxing :shock:
Even though he and Jackson are still snarly with each other, I have to say that I like having the new/old affectionate Alex back. I had forgotten that he used to put his head in my neck and nuzzle until he just started doing it again this week. (tears welling up n my eyes as I write this). He never "slept" on the bed but he used to come up as soon as the lights went off and purr and 'knead' and cuddle and nuzzle for 10 minutes before going to sleep. He hasn't done that since he was dx'd. Until this week.
He's even hanging out on the sofa with me and Jackson to watch TV for short periods of time. AND, 2 times this week when I got out of the shower, he was sleeping on my bed with Jackson in his "old place". Maybe soon he'll remember that he loves to roll on his back and have his belly rubbed (I wonder if that's just plain crazy for me to hope for)?
I wonder why this is all happening now..not that I care!!!!
