Wow! Was expecting a bounce this morning, but Willie apparently had other plans! Healing continues to progress rapidly... he's much less uncomfortable when I pick him up. No btb cuddles this morning... found him dozing on the dining room loveseat. This is the first time I've left for the day with such low numbers. I probably totally over carbed him... gave him half a can of FF with gravy, and then added the rest to an equal amount of raw to be eaten this afternoon. The half a can was probably enough. meh.

Opened the window with his pet bed in it and he came a runnin! That window faces east and it is a beautiful sunny day, so he likely spent the morning sunning himself. At the other end of the apartment, my sunroom has a window I keep open with a pet bed as well, and it faces due west. He should get in plenty of basking time today!!

Thoughts and prayers going out to our feline and bean friends and family who are facing health issues, etc.

Morning Christie - wow on the AM numbers ( and last night! :mrgreen: :mrgreen: ) - what a great day for Willie. :-D Better safe than sorry on the foods you left out - I would have done the same. he'll be safe.

I love the window perch he has. I can see him there sunning himself. Mannie loves the outdoors. I was able to let him out for a bit this morning - full sunshine, and he was so happy.

GREAT WCR and beautiful numbers! I've done the over-carbing thing too (in fact, I did it this morning). I bet Willie is one happy kitty to have sunshiny open windows all day. :smile:

Wow, looking great, Willie! I love to hear about him improving. The sun beds sound great! My civvie Lu is addicted to sunning, he would love those. He has a perch on the back of the couch instead, with a special blanket in front of the window. :razz:


Willie, I am indeed going to sing my little kitty heart out tonight. I think we should all do a big group yowl for Blackie, too, to send him off. rb_icon Many, many tuna toddies will be consumed tonight. I can't wait to see everyone!
