Early start for Trix's condo today...

Not much to report on her. I started a new case of Wellness this morning, and she seems to like it better than the previous case - she CPCed it with far fewer toppings than the last case. Of course this is just the first can...things like this can change in a heartbeat. Just my Wellness paranoia setting in :lol: !

I got some new Yeoowww nip toys (a nanner, a rainbow, and an apple) the other day...always a big hit! Here's Trix with the apple...I'm bummed it's a little blurry because her expression is so cute:


I'm not sure if the calming treat helped Frankie last night or not...it was sort of a weird evening. DH swam till 9:30 at a new pool, so when he got home, he was all excited and wound up. Frankie was extra wound up, too, as were the others...maybe the new 'nip?? She was extra fired up for 2 or so hours after the treat, but then settled, and once she did settle (around midnight), she slept all they way through till breffis. However, DH and I also dozed on the couches till 12:30. So, it really wasn't a normal evening or accurate test. We'll see how tonight goes. I admit I was very nervous giving her the treat, not knowing how she'd react. Funny, isn't it...being afraid of a treat? Anything that can alter a personality makes me nervous.

Anyway...BTB for now. I'm ignoring the s*** that is falling right now (fill in the blanks as you see fit :lol: ) Have a great day, LL!

That's good that Frankie slept the whole night through. I wish you continued success.

That's such a cute picture of Trixie. I hope she slides down to the lagoon today. Hopefully tonight will be a more normal night and you'll get an idea for how things will work with the calming treats.

Nice, easy start for us.

Not so much for DH...he just finished digging us out yet again. It was kinda dark when he headed out, and because all the other piles are so big, it looked like we just got a "heavy dusting". Nope. Another 4"+. 'Nuff said.

She's got a nice start this morning. WTG, Miss Trixie!!!!

I think the cats sensed that DH was wound up, and mimicked the mood. :lol: Cats are perceptive, and can sense things with humans just like horses and dogs can, too.

I hope that you guys stay safe up there. You're getting hammered from what I'm hearing. Have a great day! It's a good day to bake. :-D For you, anyway. :lol: Too warm down here now.

Great pic of Trixie and not a bad start for her day!

We got 6" of the s*** yesterday. I'm very glad that I was finished at work early and got home ahead of traffic gridlock. I'm also very glad that I live in a condo and someone else does the shoveling.

Sorry I missed you yesterday. I had read the condo, went to post and well never got it finished.... :roll: I will hope that the calming treats work for Frankie. as you know Lola is a pounder too, and I am lucky as she only does this during the day, and only glass or mirror surfaces. I had to smile over Ella's comments yesterday on Stu - I so remember that. Stu was a constant pounder too. Interesting on last night for you. hard to tell when the evening isn't normal. but wow - you guys had a nice one. I love to read about swimmers and new pools and the excitement it generates... anyways - good luck to you on tonight and Frankie.

I love the pic - looking good Trixie! nice of your mama to get you new nanners, and an apple too! I wonder why I never got Mannie an apple.... kudos too on the rainbow, Mannie loved those and the nanners themselves the best.

Good luck with the fuds. I will hope she continues to like it. Keep on chowing down Trixie! Going green today?

The first thing I thought when I saw that adorable pic was the caption "MINE." :lol: :lol: :lol: Trixie is off to a nice start, and while I don't envy you the s*** (would now be a bad time to mention that we're supposed to break 60 today?), I do very much envy the BTB. Trying to decide if I would trade..... :cool: :cool:

Great pic! I didn't know they came in "apple". Trixie sure looks happy, even through the slight blur.
I hope the calming treat will work. Off to a good start in any event.

It's a good thing your DH is swimming. It will make him stronger for snow shoveling :lol:

Love the pic. The nanners were such a hit here I had to order more. I only got three the first time, and with four cats, that made for some disagreements. I didn't think everyone would like them. My mistake! :? :lol: More en route. I didn't know there were other shapes. This may require some investigation!

Nice slide today, Trixie. Time to hop up on your surfboard and cruise for a while. :mrgreen:

Sorry about the s#@*. Wish you could send it here. We're supposed to hit 70 by the end of the week. :sad:

Aww.....Trixie is so adorable and loving the apple catnip apple. Love the pic. That is definitely hers! :-D I was tuning in to hear how the calming treats went with Frankie. Fingers and paws crossed for tonight. Oh no on the s... not again! Start making plans in your head for moving even though it's not in the near future.

What a sweet girl! I agree with the "mine" caption :lol: . I hate it when there is a cute picture to be had and I get blur :? . But it's still pretty clear, and shows off beautiful Trixie! It's nice of her to go the lagoon today...do I dare say that it looks that way tonight too?

I'm jealous of the btb...but not of the S. We've had enough of that. Isn't it funny that those who want it don't get it and those who do would do anything to get rid of it? :lol: . I hope both you and DH are having a relaxing evening...and that you get a nice nights sleep! :-D
