Good Morning, Everyone, and Happy Presidents' Day,

Rusty had a great day yesterday and seems to be having a little bounce from it. He had a good night, sleeping so soundly that he only ate half of his nighttime food (the FF T&G half, of course!). We had a good test, shot, breakfast (1st sitting consumed; some left for later), a schmooze, and now a nap in his little bed next to the radiator. It's -3 degrees this morning, so that radiator feels good!

Sears just called. Our new 'fridge is on the truck and will be delivered around noon. :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D Let's hope it works!! (and that it fits in the spot!).

Wishing everyone a good day and continuing to keep Roni & Brad, Michelle & Tony, and Lyresa & DH in our thoughts,

Ella & Rusty

Morning Ella ~O)

Happy Fridge Day :-D

I hope Rusty clears soon so he can resume his duties - or I guess a day (or morning) off now and then can't hurt ;-)

Have a great day!

Re: 2/18 Rusty AMPS 162

Nice WCR on Rusty. He and Mags are at about the same AMPS and hope they both reach the Green Lagoon later. Yay on delivery of the new refrigerator. Is there a walk scheduled for -2 degrees  today!
Have a great day.

Re: 2/18 Rusty AMPS 162

Hi guys .. burr on that -3! I'd be right by the radiator too .. Ok rusty, let's see if you can find your way back down to some greens later on .. Good luck with the new fridge, fingers crossed everything works out like it should .. have a great day!

Re: 2/18 Rusty AMPS 162

Hi Ella. Rusty is a little higher today than his normal. I hope his bounce clears quickly so he can get back on his throne at the lagoon.

I hope you're setting up your new fridge as I'm posting this. Some years ago my daughter bought a new fridge and it was about 1-1/2" too tall. Her solution; call dad. I removed the cabinet and cut 3/4" off the top and 3/4" off the bottom, reinstalled it and walla the fridge fit. You should be able to do the same if it's too tall. If it's too wide you can still modify the cabinet but it's a bit more tricky. No problem though because it's going to slide right in place for you.

Have a great day and enjoy your new fridge.

Re: 2/18 Rusty AMPS 162

-3 is definitely a by-the-radiator day! I hope Rusty gets back to the lagoon and that the new fridge fits perfectly! Although, I had to do the same thing as John's DD when I got my new fridge. It was the first time I'd ever bought one, and never thought to measure the space! Live and learn, right?

Re: 2/18 Rusty AMPS 162

 @Bruce...Happy Fridge Day.

Hi Ella

I hope the new fridge is being installed, perfectly, as I write this. :-D Also hope the excitement doesn't stress Rusty, and his numbers lower today.

Thank you for info on buying syringes. Actually ADW did call me, when I ordered once. They were willing to call vet for me.
I declined, because I wanted to purchase locally, at that time.

What's up w/ these numbers, Lagoon Meister? Tess is waiting for you again!

Hurry! HURRY!! HURRY!!!

Re: 2/18 Rusty AMPS 162

Hi Ella :-D

WOO HOO! A new frig. I bet you can hardly wait. how exciting! and life will now be back to normal. I hope the install goes well too, all fits and you are one happy camper. I can relate to john's post about the cabinet - we had to do that too, Frigs were bigger than they were when we bought the house. That solution worked for us too! But.... we all know yours will fit perfectly! :-D

Not a bad start for Rusty - love those blues: what I would give to call a 162 a bounce. Looking good Rusty. :-D

Have a great day, and enjoy the new toy. and stay warm. -3???? BRRRRR!

Re: 2/18 Rusty AMPS 162, +5.5 90, +9 116, PMPS 126

Hi again,

Rusty did have a brief dip in the lagoon, but went back up again. He vomited part of his lunch and then the men came to deliver the 'fridge about 3 P.M.--later than promised, but we were just happy that it was today! I think the non-routine of the day threw Rusty off kilter. The 'fridge fits perfectly because I did do a lot of measuring beforehand. Actually, it looks a little smaller than the previous 'fridge in the spot, but has more cubic feet. We can't put anything in it for 24 hours so that it gets a chance to settle in (just like a kitty on insulin). It seems to be working fine.

The day was so disrupted that I never did get back to visit condos until now. So here goes!

Ella & Rusty

p.s. tomorrow is Rusty's visit to the vet to have radiographs (?) (x rays?) taken of his chest. I hate to take him in again so soon, but I do want to be sure nothing is amiss. We have to take him early and leave him there for a few hours. I don't have to fast him and I should give insulin as normal.

Nice to see Rusty dipped into the lagoon today. Sending good vetty vines for tomorrow. I'm glad you got your new fridge delivered today.
