Good morning, everyone,

Rusty had a good night and woke me several times with snuggles and kitty kisses. This morning he is camped out in his little bed by the radiator, snoozing. I think he may come over for a schmooze soon. We are having a big change in the weather. Much warmer, very windy, with some snow for today, then thaws, ice jams, and rain predicted for the end of the week. I hate to think of losing this beautiful snow and having ice and slush instead.

Wishing you all a good day. I have no idea where Rusty will go with his numbers!

Re: 2/18 Rusty AMPS 167

Nice start for Rusty. The much of a melting winter is annoying. But it does give way to some beautiful flowers and canoeing. :-D Hope your knee is getting better and better. Have a great day Ella!

Morning Ella ~O) ~O) ~O)

I am sorry I have missed you the past couple of days. I blinked, and the day was gone, and I hadn't visited anyone... :?

I absolutely LOVE this from your condo yesterday:
When we got back from the potluck I just had to stand outside for 10 minutes to experience the snow, the stillness, the deep midnight-blue sky full of stars, the silent evergreens in their cloaks of snow: it was magnificent.
it is the magnificence of the outdoors, and why I love it so, get out as often as I can. The wonders "out there" are endless... I so hope your knee gets better fast so you too can get out there again.

It is a nice start for Rusty, and I am glad to see he recovered from that yellow last night. I wonder where that came from, and I bet Rusty isn't talking... I will hope he is off to the lagoon today. Right Rusty?

oh my goodness on your weather changes. I was just reading ours for today: we have a little bit of everything, from high winds to rains to thunder and lightning, and even a few, very few, snowflakes late tonight. I so hear you on loosing your snow - it is so pretty, such a pristine blanket of white! then it turns to ice and mush and causes all sorts of problems for everyone.

Enjoy your day today. I hope it is a good one. And Rusty: greens, remember?

Re: 2/18 Rusty AMPS 167

Hi again,
Yes, this snow will certainly deteriorate over the next few days, but up here in the North Country we will still have plenty of winter--no worries there! We don't expect to see the ground again until April, and it has been known to snow on Memorial Day!

Rusty is up on his perch. We had a good combing/brushing and he grazed a bit on his breakfast. We also had a play with the bell balls and some stuffed mice. Always a good sign to see Rusty playing.

Love how Rusty and Neko are coordinating their PS shots lately. I just hope Neko will follow Rusty's good influence - looks like he might be thinking about heading down to the lagoon soon. It is great to see our older cats play, makes me smile too.

How is the knee feeling today? It doesn't sound like it's worth going outside today anyway at your place. Slush and ice jams do not sound appealing.

What a nice slide down today! WTG, Mr. Rusty!!! Hoping you guys got a bit of shmoozing today!

I've been watching the Weather Channel, and have noticed that you guys were dumped on. Literally. I know that snow is pretty, however, aren't you guys getting a tad bit tired of it by now?

Have a great day, and thank you for stopping by our condo this morning. :YMHUGS: We greatly appreciate it. (pssstt... She went down to 76 at +7!!)

Hi again,
Just lost my post! Anyway, Rusty is being a flat cat today. Must mean something.

Our weather has really deteriorated. Back in the "old" days in this part of Northern NY State (Adirondack Mountains) there used to be 4+ feet of snow on the ground all winter long. This winter we have had the fringe effects from the big coastal storms and from the "lake-effect" bands of snow, but not a lot of snow in general. The Jet Stream is whacky, like all of our global-warming weather.

My knee is about the same. I think I will go back to the doctor tomorrow.

Wishing everyone a good evening,

Ella & Rusty

Very nice flatness for Rusty today.

I can't tell you how much I wish we could trade our snow situations!

Have a great evening, Ella!

Hi Ella - nice flat and even for Rusty.... whatcha up to Rusty?

I hope your knee will be better by tomorrow, might be good to have the DR check it again. How frustrating it must be for you. take care!

So agreed on that jet stream, it has played such havoc with so many folks weather.

Have a great night!

A nice, blue surf all day. What's in store tonight Rusty? A moonlight dip? Don't go too far out, though, ok? :-D

Stinks about the weather. I love snow - watching it fall, seeing the white blanket over everything. I hate it after a few days when it's dirty and slushy and then icy. :-|

Sending more healing vines for your knee, Ella.

Nice flat blue, we like that but of course we'd like some green, Rusty. I hope the knee gets better.

Wow, look at Rusty go! . I hope he surfs that for you now. What a nice day it sounds like you all had! Well, snuggles and hanging out wise, not weather...hope the outlook on that improves for you soon. Have a great night!
