Re: 2/18 Lucian AMPS+8/154 MDPS 264

Fascinating how he switches back and forth. (probably more so for me, a bystander, than his Mom). It certainly reinforces the idea that insulin is a part of the pcture but other things play a part. But I keep thinking, Deb, if he can switch between 8/10, somday soon he can switch between 10/12. Or we can keep paws crossed for....

Oh gosh I hope so....

His numbers are looking great Debbie! Good work!

Yup, I am hoping for longer cycles.

Well ladies, I had 11 inches cut off my hair. :o Again, I was catching it in my waist band and got fed up with it, had it cut even with my armpits, just above my bra hooks. It was just too long. Now that it has thinned so much, it doesn't look nice, it isn't in the condition it was before I got sick, so I decided this is as long as I will keep it now. Feels strange, I'm so used to it being below mid-back - waist length. Getting old is so highly overrated! :-x

Came home from the store, to see that one of the cats puked all over the bed. I know it was Meow Meow, she does that a lot and she was on the bed when I left. So, guess I'll start the laundry.

Yep, my Mom (who lived to be 95) always said getting old is not for sissies, but better than the alternative.

Yup and youth is wasted on the young! I understand that old saying 'Wish I was ## and know what I know now." I'd pick 21 for that one.

I would pick the age when every joint didn't hurt - when every step wasn't agonizing. Enjoy your change with the haircut. Sometimes we just need something a little different to lighten our day. I know that someday I will no longer be able to wear my hair long. It will save me so much time.

Ya know Robin, at a certain length, it takes no time. There is nothing you can do with it anyway. You have 1 style - LONG. It was a waste of time to try to do anything with it. At least now, I can curl it and make it look different when I go to lunch with my son or something. It's long enough to put up if I want to but not so long it's into everything, including my jeans. ohmygod_smile

Shoot, if I could go back to being 100% healthy again, you could shave my head in exchange! I'd give up every strand to have my health back, so I understand how you feel.

I had super long thick hair growing up, and then chopped it all off super short when I was in high school. Started growing it back after I graduated college, but it has never grown back as thick or as healthy. These days, it's more out of avoiding the inconvenience of regular trims and having to learn how to style a shorter cut that I keep it long. Ponytails and the occasional side braid - that's what I call simple styling! :-D I own a straightening iron and a blow-dryer but I use them about twice a year.

You are doing such a great job with Lucian. It's really interesting to see what can be done given the flexibility of a PZI insulin.

Same here, can't afford the upkeep. Been going in about once a year or longer, to get several inches cut off and that's it. Told her today, I'd see her next year. But I think I'll go in about 6 months, want to keep it closer to what it is now.

SO! Won't be an 8hr this morning. :o Didn't expect that 76 @ +8.

Back to bed for a couple hrs. I-) And it's storming like h*ll outside!
