As an analyst and consultant who relies on consistent data, there is little more frustrating than unexplained anomalies. Hamilton and I had a discussion about his glucose performance today, but I’m not sure he cares. So, I’m shooting an hour early to ward of the climb, and will be having a glass of wine (it’s National Drink Wine Day) to cope. I keep telling myself he’s leaps and bounds ahead of two weeks ago and everything is just fine.

Are you shooting 12 hours later tomorrow morning too? Ie. an hour earlier than usual. Shooting earlier than 1/2 hour may not be the best strategy. Some cats will do a "high before the low", so you should be cautious shooting that much earlier when in relatively low numbers. Especially six hours after his last low. Could b a bounce breaking cycle tonight.

By the way, why didn't you reduce after the last low?

Cats do like to confuse us.

All good questions. Whenever we early dose, we’ll slowly return to the schedule, so tomorrow will be 12.25 hours, dinner 12.5, until we’re back on schedule.

I did shave his doses as I suspected the low was from an epic and uncharacteristic wrestling match between him and his civvie sister. Definitely an unexpected burn of calories we seldom see.

I’ve never caught him with a “high before low” and when he pulled a nadir 50 points above normal I expected to see the climb.

We have tomorrow off, so we felt comfortable to stay up and monitor as long as needed. I don’t anticipate another drop, but we’ll see. We’re just making the best adjustments we can knowing our little guy.

If 216 was your PMPS, then out it in the PMPS cell and write it as 216 @+11, so we know at a glance you shot one hour early. I didn't see a dose shave on the SS.

Good drop to +2.
