Yesterday's BG readings:

AMPS - 162, gave skinny .10 units of Lantus (1st cycle)
+2 - 187
+4 - 169
+7 - 289
+10 - 346
PMPS - 282, gave skinny .10 units of Lantus (2nd cycle)
+2 - 332
+3 - 340
+7 - 368

This morning's AMPS was 381 and I gave another skinny .10 units Lantus.

Today's theme is Bounce, Bounce, Bounce.

I am wondering if taking this long to come to the high numbers means Cini's pancreas was really trying to hold close to the 47 from PM cycle on 2/16? Usually when he hits a low number the next reading or two will shoot up and stay there for a cycle or two. This time it looks like he's taking the slow train to bounceville.

I wish there were a formula to give you that would interpret numbers and/or bounces. Unfortunately, there's not. At least my experience is that whenever I think I've got things figured out, whether for Gabby or another kitty, it changes. I don't know if it's because cats enjoy being inscrutable, we're dealing with a healing pancreas (which clearly doesn't understand English or any language, for that matter), or sheer willpower on our part just doesn't influence anything cat-related.

i like to know the reason "why" too . . . but i don't know.

Hope Cini clears the bounce soon! I wish we had a crystal ball to see what was going on with our kitters. Enjoy a little poke break and rest!

I slept sooooo good last night and then I took a nap on the couch this afternoon.

I was out with my son this morning touring Arizona State University, we walked that whole campus! :lol: But it was worth it. I think he's really going to like it there.
