I tested her with the AT too this morning, it reads 397 on it. So high! She had a good night and is very hungry this morning.
I should be doing a curve for the vet today (that's why I used the AT as well). I wonder if I should go up again? She's still at 3.5 but I did not see any blue or green since the first day after I went down. My Lantus is getting old too, maybe it's time to start a new bottle? I opened this one december 8th.

If you don't get green today, you can take her back u tomorrow to 3.75U.

Is it a vial or a pen? If stored properly in the fridge, Lantus lasts several months. I don't think it's the insulin. She is just bouncing. Or the last reduction was a failed one. Let us see what she does today.

In the fridge door or inside?

Just for future reference, a curve is meaningful in an active cycle. If she is bouncing, you will just get flat and high numbers. In an active cycle, you will get an idea of how low she is going on a dose which is what you are looking for in a curve.
Thank you. I think I was starting to understand that, but you are confirming! last week I decided to wait until I sent a curve to my vet because she was bouncing. This week, though, I'm not so sure it's still bouncing, as I could not see any lows. At least over the last 3 days.
As for the automatic feeder: she knows it, we usually leave for 2-3 weeks in the summer (not since she was diagnosed and I am trying very hard not to panic over that yet! I am from France and have to visit my mum.) and she eats from it, we have a lady who comes once or twice a day, feeds her, and fills the feeder since she likes to eat several times a day. But yesterday she was just trying to open it, and she succeeded. We'll see how that goes.

OK. She's still high at +2, 308 (362 on the AT), so I'm not going to do a curve today :)
A bounce can take up to 6 cycles to clear, so let's see if she does something tonight.

There are many people with sugar cats who travel. They get a petsitter to come and give a "vacation" dose of insulin twice a day.
