Yesterday's Condo
So, yesterday was just one of those days for the bean... running late, had forgotten to mail an important document that was supposed to be postmarked the day before, so paid $30+ to fedex it to get there today, got almost all the way to work only to realize I'd left my work computer in the living room, causing me to miss a morning appointment with our work nurse for a bone density scan, went to the gym after work, just missed the start of my yoga class, realized I'd accidentally grabbed the wrong yoga pants... the ones with the giant hole in them, went to my car to get music, headphones, water bottle and maybe a safety pin for the pants,thought I'd left my phone at the office, thankfully found it before driving BACK to work, dropped my locker key somewhere, went back and forth several times to the car before asking at the desk, where someone had thankfully turned it in... yeah, one of THOSE days. The kitties made up for it with lots of cuddles on the sofa, including another sweet nap from Herbie... she only slows down when she's sleepy!
Today is a new day, with happy green numbers, and for the bean, a day lounging around, observing what goes on around here I'm not around. We all went btb after morning bidness and first breffis, with Willie nudging me awake at +2 for more fuds. After second breffis (usually about the time I leave the house), they each took a turn at a second round of btb time with the bean, and then they chased each other all over the house for about half an hour. Willie then staked out his spot on his bed that would be perfect for afternoon sun, while Herbie played in the spots of sun on the living room rug, before retiring behind the TV in the window for a fully stretched out sunny nap. She's now in trying to instigate Willie to get up and play with her. In the mean time, I'm still in my pjs at 1:00 in the afternoon, having caught up on some TV and am about to catch up on magazine and cookbook reading and perhaps a nap in my toasty warm bed, with a sunny walk planned for a few hours from now.
To sum it up... we're a happy bunch! :lol: :lol: :lol:
