2/17 Sabian (PZI .8u) PMPS-283 +2-163

I posted the PMPS in the AM thread tonight, but thought I'd start a new thread.

PMPS was 283 tonight, and the +2 was 163. That's a drop of 120 in 2 hours, which looks about average so far for the .8u.

My vet suggested I stick with the .8u for a bit longer and run a 12hr curve (check every 2hrs) on the 21st or 22nd to let that dosage settle into her system and and let her body get used to it before trying to alter it any. Sound advice, I think.

She sure can work that Prozinc Hope she slows down a little.

As for your vet, does he realize at least what his recommended dose could have done to her?

I think so. I'm trying not to say flat-out, "you could have killed my cat" though.

I just hope he does realize and learns from what you can teach him so no other cat is put in danger.

Her +3 is 96. I'm going to check her again in a half-hour to make sure she's surfing here and not diving any more.

+4 is back up to 140.

What an adorable fuzzball Suzi is.......love the coloring. Is there a reason why she is so thin? You just want to pick her up and smooch her. Boy, Sabian can sure use that insulin up quickly.
