Good Morning, Everyone,

It was below zero last night. Great for the frozen food in the ice chests, which I opened up to the cold. Great sleeping weather for our kitty, who snuggled down between his beans. Rusty had a good night. This morning we had a good test, shot, breakfast (1st sitting so far), and a brief nap in his little bed by the radiator. But then he left his bed and came meowing to get my attention while I was re-distributing the freezer blocks. We hadn't yet had our schmooze! So we schmoozed for about 1/2 hour and then he returned to his spot by the radiator. What a fine cat!

This evening is the monthly potluck supper of our Mt. Club. Fortunately I am down for a salad. It has been really hard being without a refrigerator. Everything takes twice as long. So yesterday we bought potato salad at a deli!! :lol: My leg is much better, but I'm not going to do anything on it today except take a walk. We haven't been inside the Ice Palace yet, so we plan to do that this afternoon.

oh my on the temps! Stay warm on your walk today - it ought to be fun. I a so glad your leg is better today. The walk should be good I would think. Enjoy the potluck tonight too. I always hoped I'd get salad when I went to them. So much easier! and HAHA on getting it from the deli. :lol: I am certain you cannot wait for your new frig. This week, yes?

Oh Sir Rusty! What bootiful AMPS you handed Mama this morning! Would you try to convince KT to come down there with you please?

Ella, you BOUGHT potato salad? Shame on you....teeheehee... ;-) I always end up tasked with something that takes a long time to fix...or something I don't like. Take care of your leg, doesn't cold make it more painful? It does mine but I'm a weenie.

Rusty, hurry up and get down to the Green Lagoon, says Mags! :-D Sending some healing vines for your leg. A little walk should help as long as it isn't hurting I would think. You make the same kind of potato salad as me. :lol: Just kidding, as I know you would make something special if you had a refrigerator. Have a great day.

I hope Rusty slides down to the lagoon today. It's great to have a cat to cuddle with when it gets cold.

Rusty and Gabby are hangin' at the lagoon. What good kitties!!

To answer your question, the larger breed cats (e.g, NFCs, Maine Coons, Siberians) aren't officially adults until they're 5 yo. They can still have growth spurts until then. Although, if kittenhood is a state of mind, I'm not sure Gizmo is ever going to grow up!!

Yeah, the lagoonmeister is back hard at work. I hope you enjoyed the ice palace - got any pictures? That fridge should be almost here by now.

Hi again,
The LagoonMeister is still on duty.

Never did get to the Ice Palace. It was bitter cold and windy, so after we had walked about 1/2 mile we decided to turn around and go home! Potluck was sparsely attended, but everyone loved "my" potato salad (thank you, Linda!! :lol: ). The bowl (my own bowl) was scraped clean.
Fingers crossed that the 'fridge gets here tomorrow. We cleared a path through the snow to the front door.

Did you throw in a little seasoning, so know one will know the 'tato salad wasn't home made? :lol:

Ella, I keep forgetting to ask you....because we have to have prescription here in NY, for syringes, do you ever change brands mid-box?
Do you then have to get another 'script?
Do you have a online place to buy, without a 'script?
I'm having problems with the box I have, but it's a pain to get a 'script again.
I know it can be faxed, but that's a nuisance to the doc. It was so much nicer to just order when I wanted.
