What a morning yesterday, following an incredible night the night before. I wish I had retested him when I got the 356 yesterday morning... I really had expected a bounce... Hindsight!! I couldn't believe it when I got the 165 @ +1: 200 points???? and fed him accordingly: as if he had had a 200 point drop. Had no choice, since I didn't know for sure, and I had to leave to get Nicholas. So he got more carbs than he really needed.... Oh well.... he's been on the rise ever since so we are in full bounce mode. :YMSIGH: ohmygod_smile But I tell ya - that cycle the night before last? WOW. Sure looks like somebody doesn't want any stinkin' dosecrease. Well Mannie, for now it is off the table, but ya know - you gotta get those numbers down, all the time, OK? Lubs ya big guy! cat_pet_icon Now about this morning....
All is well in MannieLand.
The adventures of Mannie and Nicholas continue.... It's test time, and all key players are in position. Me, with Nannie on my lap, on the floor (I know: weird, but Mannie has always liked to be tented on the floor, so there we sit...) . Nicholas right next to Mannie, trying so hard to be quiet and not touch during Mannie's test. But the temptation was too great. He slowly leans to his side, gets his head level with Mannie's and ever so cautiously looks him right in the eye, and then gives him the biggest smile, with a sofa gentle pet to the head. I can hear the thoughts now: " It's OK Mannie, I am here for you. It will be over soon" .
  It was just so cute.... The nanners got a good workout today too - he crashed in them the night before, and has remained there most of the day - those poke-a-thons are hard work!  And as always we had a great test feed shoot this morning: lots of purrs and head rubs from Mannie. Breffis was consumed with gusto - still and always at warp speed, clean plate club status maintained, the auto feeder continues to be used, Elsa still tries to raid his auto feeder, I still intercept, well sort of, after all this time.... Normalcy in MannieLand.
I am still on DGS duty today, then have fur days off. what was supposed to be awful rainy weather has suddenly changed - yesterday, and today. I hope it holds for a bit this morning,. If so DGS and I are off again to the outdoors - more than likely a river, lake maybe too. WOO HOO!
I know I won't be able to visit condos while he is here - so sorry! Hopefully I can later in the evening. I am thinking of you all, even if I can't visit. Think Blue, think Green kitties!
Hey everybody! WOW on yesterday - I so love the beach - it is such fun... laying around in the sun, making sandcastles, playing in the surf. and the best part?!: outdoor grillin'. Maggie brought the best salmon burgers. YUM!! I kinda want to do something a little different today... I was thinking - well ok so that is scary - but how about some paintball? What'd'ya think? it would be so fun, and we will use water paint stuff so our fur won't get to messed up... You guys in? we can do something else is you want to! See you!!~~ Mannie
And completely OT: Here are some photos of the Sammamish River, where Nicholas and I went to play yesterday. We have been here alot, so they may look a little familiar...
