What a week it has been! I have no idea why she suddenly started throwing out higher than normal numbers, its possible at some point I began unintentionally giving her a smaller drop of insulin. Tried feeding her several small meals - that seems to help quite a bit. I also picked up a new pen of insulin.
Last night I 'fattened' her drop up a bit...nothing drastic, but just a bit bigger. I wouldn't call it a small drop yet...so its an xtra small drop (F) on my SS. :roll: These micro doses are enough to make your eyes cross!
Last night/this morning we are back in the green (barely!). So we'll see where she is when I get home this evening. Timed feeder should be here any day now so I am curious to see if micro meals through the day will keep us nice and level in the green. Sure did help yesterday when I could give her a snack at +4 and +8 - I think we got some pancreas action! Check it out:
AMPS: 128
+4: 120 (fed 1/4 can so a little over an oz or so)
+8: 108 (fed 1tsp)
PMPS: 98
