I was brave and gave him insulin. :oops: :confused:

I am NOT home to monitor this time, so i have already left the MC for the scheduled +2 and +4.5 snack. It seemed to work well last time. I wish I could come home on break today, but no =/ i have to get use to this eventually.

Civvie updated: I think she understands her new feeder... gordy tried to ambush her last night and snuck some kibble. I put it back on the floor because I think her hip is bothering her... but of course now gordy sees everything.
 
His +1 is 201, so he is not immediately dropping, which is good.

Now off to work and to try not to worry about this all day. :nailbiting:

I think he may have hit green after my last test. (Which is nice!)

I am liking the fact that I didn't wake up to a bounce!!! So I am really crossing my fingers that today's AM cycle is safe for him. I almost didn't give insulin today because I knew I couldn't go home to check on him. But he seems to finally be making progree and I didn't want to mess it up again. *fingers crossed*
 
I thought it would be fun to share some before and after pictures with G.

He has always been pudgy, 21-22lbs of cat (LOL). Obviously, the diabetes and diet change have had him loosing weight. I never thought him obese, but now seeing pictures.... WOW.

Very handsome and love his new figure! :) Teasel's brother was a bit "hefty" so I switched him to Teasel's low carb wet food last June and he's lost a kilogram and looks much trimmer.

I was really hoping he'd stay in the yellow. It could be the MC food too, but I didn't want to take chances.

Meanwhile, rex didnt seem to eat anything all day :banghead:

Rex decided to eat. Maybe she doesnt want to when I am not home? Orrrrr, she didn't care for the FF Seafood Feast. (neither of them seemed enthralled by it... and it seemed dry for a wet food. Just solidifies my reasoning for not getting seafood flavors =P)
