Yesterday's Condo

I'm hoping these numbers are a high before a break.

OTOH, today is Gizmo's 5th birthday. He still acts like a kitten although he is becoming more snuggly and will stay in one place for more than two minutes. He's going to get treats tonight since both he and Gabby get treats in the morning. Shhh....don't tell him there's freeze dried chicken on the menu tonight!

I saw the article. Actually, Gizmo's breeder, Margie Nelson, was one of the people interviewed and she sent the link. She had a great anecdote about one of her Grand Champions, Lexi, who would sit in the cart at Petsmart and get lots of attention from people. Lexi was a great ambassador for the breed, to say nothing of a gorgeous cat.

Happy Birthday, Gizmo!

We have family friends who had a 27lb Norwegian Forest Cat. I never had the honor of meeting him, since he lived across the country, but he sounded like such a sweetheart. Uncle Stan used to take him out on a leash - the cat would get super-excited when Uncle Stan walked towards where the harness was hanging!

Gabby, you're working on coming down, right?

I wondered when I read that article and read that Margie Nelson was in Chicago if you had gotten Gizmo from her. They are most certainly a beautiful cat breed. Have been to a few cat shows and they are one of my favorites, well they all are.
