Yesterday's Condo

Gabby was all snuggled up until about 30 sec. before the alarm went off. She hopped out of bed and promptly walked to the bathroom to use her "facilities" and then off to the kitchen to hurry along her breakfast.

It's Gizmo's 4th birthday today! He clearly thought that Gabby should acknowledge the event and stood by her shoulder and tried to get his head into her bowl while she finished her breakfast. (Ha! Silly kitten!! Gabby let him have her food!! That wasn't happening. She completely ignored him.) Gizmo did ask for extra treats for using his scratching post. Actually, he was reluctant to use the post but got his treats anyway. After all, it is his birthday!

It's been a busy evening. Gizmo did get into Gabby's food. I stepped out of the kitchen and I think there was a bowl swap. Gizmo looked very pleased with himself for hoovering up Gabby's food. Gizmo has been very cuddly all day and I would get dirty looks if I moved. He also has been running up and down the hall whenever I have to get up and get something. Gabby just yelled at me -- and I mean yelled. She wanted her belly scratched.

I think my life is run by cats.
